Study: Blacks are twice as likely as whites to have performed a heroic deed

According to a study conducted by the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University, and featured in an article in USA Today, blacks are twice as likely as whites to have performed a heroic deed. That finding seems dubious to me.

Society implicitly has different expectations for different groups, and the "hero" bar is often set much lower for blacks than for whites. For example, when the restaurant chain Firehouse Subs issued "hero cups" in 2009 to honor firefighters who had displayed "incredible acts of bravery," they selected four white men and one black woman as heroes. All four of the white men had risked their their own lives to rescue civilians in life-and-death situations, while the black woman's act of bravery was "spearheading a community-based program to strengthen fire safety education for seniors."

Similarly, the Stanford study muddles the definition of hero by conflating real acts of heroism (e.g., helping another person in a dangerous emergency) with, for lack of a better word, "affirmative action" acts of heroism (e.g., defying unjust authority, confronting an injustice). The USA Today article doesn't break the list of heroic actions down by race, and I wasn't able to find the study online, but I suspect non-whites were more likely than whites to have chosen "defied unjust authority" or "confronted an injustice." Those terms are so vague that acts such as resisting a police officer or attending an "anti-racism" rally would seem to qualify.

Even if blacks were more likely than whites to report having "helped someone during an emergency," that could be because of differing views of what truly constitutes an "emergency." It seems like whenever there's a news report about an angry fast food customer who made a frivolous emergency 911 call, whether because the restaurant ran out of chicken nuggets or lemonade, because their french fries were served cold, or because they were dissatisfied with the amount of food they received, the caller is invariably black. I wouldn't consider mediating a heated fast food dispute a heroic act, but some black people might.

Or maybe I'm off on this one. Maybe the harsh realities of inner city living provide blacks with greater opportunities to respond heroically in emergency situations, and more often than not they rise to the occasion. I don't know.

Rochester Residents Again Responsible for Violence at Suburban Mall

Back in early June I wrote about an incident in suburban Rochester, NY in which several hundred youths from the city of Rochester converged at the Greece Festival for Youth, a yearly charity event held at The Mall at Greece Ridge in the west-side suburb of Greece, and started a melee. I wrote that, in response to the violence, the 20-year-old event was closed down a week ahead of schedule, and its future was in jeopardy.

Patrick Cleburne later reported on the VDARE Blog that the festival had indeed been canceled for good. A VDARE reader who lives in Greece and patronizes The Mall at Greece Ridge chimed in to confirm that there was a noticeable uptick in the mid/late 2000s of anti-social behavior among black youths from Rochester at the mall. This corroborates accounts I've heard from friends about the deteriorating conditions of certain parts of Greece over the past decade.

Earlier this week, The Mall at Greece Ridge was again the scene of a scuffle, and once again the violence was plotted over the Internet. According to witnesses, roughly six girls fought in a fountain while others stood around it pushing, shoving, screaming, and cussing. One of the women pulled out a sharp instrument during the fight and began flailing it, but no one was stabbed. There was one arrest: Rochester resident Tamiya Jackson (pictured) was charged with menacing. Said one Greece police captain of the fight, "I could put 50 cops in the mall and I couldn't prevent [the fight]... The mall is safe."

A Christmas Card from the MSM

The #2 "headline" on msnbc.com mobile this Christmas was an AP article titled "Haitian orphans settling in with adoptive families" that profiled some of the American couples that adopted Haitian orphans this past year.

One of the couples was Tim Franklin and his wife, Annette, of Bridport, VT, who adopted an HIV-positive Haitian girl in 2007. After the girl died the following year, the Franklins apparently decided to try their luck again. While on a brief visit to Haiti in mid-2009 they met a second HIV-positive girl and decided to adopt her.

Another couple profiled was Brian and Emily Fletcher (pictured left) of Penfield, NY, who adopted a toddler with cerebral palsy. Like the Franklins, the Fletchers are devout Christians who live in an overwhelmingly white community. Both couples already had more than one biological child of their own when they decided to take on a special needs Haitian orphan.

I recognized the Fletcher family from the picture accompanying the article, having seen them at an outdoor festival in suburban Rochester this past June. A few weeks before then, over Memorial Day weekend, several hundred youths from the city of Rochester had started a melee at another outdoor festival in the suburb of Greece, so on this occasion I paid even more attention than I usual do to the racial makeup of the crowd.

To my surprise, the crowd must have been at least 90% white, and nearly all the non-whites in attendance were Asian. The only black person I saw all evening was a very young boy who was strapped into a baby carrier that a young white woman was wearing. Standing next to the woman were a young white man and two white children, presumably her husband and biological children. The very dark-skinned child stuck out like a sore thumb and was obviously adopted. The mother was showing off her new African fashion accessory to the world, just as Sandra Bullock had done just a couple of months earlier.

Who Said It? Caste Football or African-American Sports Writer Jason Whitlock

Left-wing MSNBC host Rachel Maddow has once again taken to smearing organizations on the racial right. This time she's gone after the website Caste Football. In a mocking tone, she says of the site: "Caste Football is research - racial analysis of NFL teams in which they count the white people." (watch the video on The Political Cesspool blog).

I’m guessing that Maddow didn’t object when the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport released their annual report earlier this year ranking men's pro sports leagues on their “diversity” (sounds like "racial analysis" to me). In the report, the NBA received the top grade (an 'A' for diversity) because 77% of the players are black and there are a large number of blacks in front-office positions (needless to say, the NHL didn't fare as well).

Putting that double standard aside, as an example of how horribly racist Caste Football is Maddow read a quote from the site about how the Indianapolis Colts have a mostly white starting offense.

Kentucky Education Commissioner: "no school in America... will make adequate yearly progress if they have any sort of diversity in their building"

An unintentionally revealing quote from an article in The Courier-Journal:

Kentucky Education Commissioner Terry Holliday said Kentucky schools overall aren't progressing fast enough to meet the rising standards of No Child Left Behind, which requires all schools to reach proficiency in math and reading by 2014.

Many schools are falling short because they can't meet the testing standards among their minority, low-income, learning-disabled or limited-English students. If even one group should fail to meet the reading or math goals, then the school is judged to be failing, which Holliday says “isn't fair.”

“By 2014, there will be no school in America that will make adequate yearly progress if they have any sort of diversity in their building,” Holliday said.

At one Louisville school, the Olmsted Academy, the district spent $2 million "to reduce class sizes, add technology and provide more professional development for teachers, many of whom had to reapply for their jobs." But student scores went up only "slightly," and the school will face sanctions under No Child Left Behind this year.

If scores don't improve quickly, it's possible the Olmsted Academy could be closed. That's what happened to Sam Houston High School in Houston, TX, where the school was deemed a failure because a small group of black students underperformed on a state-mandated math exam year after year. The school was only 4% black and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to raise black scores, to no avail. The school was closed, and 2,400 white and Hispanic students had to be relocated.

To fund an increasing amount of remedial instruction for blacks, schools across the country have been closing science labs, dropping French, German, and Latin courses, eliminating honors programs, and leaving high-achieving white and Asian students to fend for themselves.

NY GOP Distances Themselves from Congressional Candidate Endorsed by this Blog

It's being reported that Westchester County Republicans are dropping congressional candidate Jim Russell after allegedly racist quotations from his 2001 essay "The Western Contribution to World History" surfaced on Monday.

I was aware of Russell's past writings when I endorsed his candidacy back in July, and in fact at one time I linked to the offending essay on this blog. I'm re-posting my article from July in full below.

Westchester County Update: Republican Congressional Candidate Jim Russell Vows to "Stop the HUD Steamroller"

Last summer officials in Westchester County agreed to spend more than $50 million "to create affordable housing in overwhelmingly white communities and aggressively market it to non-whites in the county and in neighboring New York City."

The agreement settled a lawsuit filed against the county by an organization called the Anti-Discrimination Center. County officials had fought the lawsuit for three years, but settled because of what County executive Andrew Spano called "a historic shift of philosophy" by federal housing officials.

What "historic shift in philosophy" was Spano referring to?

Under the Obama administration, the Department of Housing and Urban Development is intent on integrating racially segregated neighborhoods - not just in Westchester County but across the country. Indeed, HUD Deputy Secretary Ron Sims said that the Westchester County settlement was a first step, and that he hoped it could "serve as a model for building strong, inclusive sustainable communities in suburban areas across the entire United States."

"Strong, inclusive sustainable communities" is liberal-speak for multi-racial neighborhoods that have high rates of violent crime and low levels of civic health. For years the federal government has been tearing down public housing projects in inner cities and giving the displaced residents Section 8 vouchers that allow them to rent housing in upscale suburban neighborhoods. According to a 2008 article in The Atlantic, police have discovered there is a "near-perfect" match between Section 8 rentals and incidents of violent crime. And in what was the largest study ever conducted on civic engagement in America, Robert Putnam, a liberal Harvard University professor, found that "all measures of civic health are lower in more diverse settings." Specifically, Putnam found that "the greater the diversity in a community, the fewer people vote and the less they volunteer, the less they give to charity and work on community projects. In the most diverse communities, neighbors trust one another about half as much as they do in the most homogeneous settings."

Westchester's incumbent Congresswoman, Democrat Nita Lowey, supported the settlement, but Lowey's 2010 Republican challenger, Jim Russell, came out strongly against it.

Russell recognizes that "HUD has an insatiable desire to reconfigure neighborhoods across America" and understands that the settlement it forced on Westchester County will "lead to the irreversible demise" of the county. If elected, Russell vows to introduce legislation that will amend federal housing laws to "stop the HUD steamroller" and let "natural housing patterns" endure.

Russell gets it. He understands the danger posed by HUD and groups like the Anti-Discrimination Center, and he's willing to do what it takes to save Westchester County (and all other communities across the country that HUD is intent on "reconfiguring"). He deserves our support.

Black and White Dolls

Back in March, a Walmart store in Louisiana made headlines when it priced a discontinued black Barbie doll less than a similar white Barbie doll. ABC News quoted a Harlem community organizer who said Walmart was "devaluing the black doll" and a sociology professor from California who said that Walmart was sending a message that they "value blackness less than whiteness."

Now a Target store in Florida is in the news for pricing a discontinued white doll less than a similar black doll. Is Target being accused of "devaluing the white doll" and "valuing whiteness less than blackness"?

No, of course not.

Instead, Target is being accused of racism against blacks for making them pay more for a doll that resembles them. The Miami New Times quoted a black Target shopper as saying, "I feel sick right now."

When a Target employee explained to the customer that "most people are happy to hear that their doll isn't being discontinued," she became even more disconsolate. "When is this sort of thing going to stop, man?"

Attacking Whitey in Iowa

In a concert in Dubuque, Iowa earlier this month, rocker Ted Nugent allegedly looked out over the crowd and made the statement, "There's a lot of white people in this crowd! I like that! This a white town."

In response, the editorial board of the Dubuque Telegraph Herald warned that Nugent's "racially insensitive" remarks could have "spark[ed] a confrontation" and rhetorically asked whether the concert venue's employees should be expected to work in such a potentially dangerous environment. Noting that white concertgoers didn't express disapproval of Nugent's remarks, and in fact many had cheered him on, the editorial board concluded that racism is alive and well in Iowa: "Anybody who thinks racism is in Dubuque's past had better think again."

Now comes word that there were a number of racially motivated beatings at the Iowa State Fair this past Friday. Did white Iowans, riled up by the hateful words of the pro-gun, Tea Party-supporting rocker, assault innocent black fairgoers?

No. Of course not.

White fairgoers were brutally assaulted by a pack of 30-40 black youths who roamed the festival openly calling it "beat whitey night." One 36-year-old white man was hospitalized with "severe injuries to his eyes, cheekbones, and nose." Two police officers also suffered injuries.

According to one of the police reports, this was actually the second weekend in a row that black youths assaulted whites in or around the state fair. One officer's report reads, "A large group of black male and female juvelines was report[ed] to have started assaulting people again, like last Friday night." In one of the attacks the previous weekend, a white man was beaten by a group of black youths while onlookers shouted racial slurs and yelled "Just kill the white dude."

This isn't the first series of black-on-white beatings to take place in Iowa since Obama's inauguration. Last year, under the heading "Iowa City troubled by surge in downtown beatings," AP reporter Nigel Duara wrote of a series of unprovoked gang assaults that had shocked the "quintessential college town" of Iowa City.

Noting that the University of Iowa had just launched an "alcohol summit" to combat student binge drinking, Duara tried to pass the assaults off as something intrinsic to the college town's "bar culture" and suggested the violence was the inevitable result of the "mix of young people and alcohol."

While Duara tried to give the impression that drunken white college students were responsible for the violence, he left clues that that was not the case. Duara wrote that onlookers cheered on the assailants, and that bystanders who tried to intervene were beaten. The assailants seemed to be committing assaults purely for the "sheer pleasure of it," and police were worried by the "intense violence and random nature of the attacks."

The AP article didn't provide any suspect descriptions, but the Iowa City Police Department's web site confirmed my suspicion that black youths were responsible for the gang assaults:

"Witnesses reported that the victim had run to the aid of a college age male who was being beaten up by 6 to 10 black males. The victim, who was knocked unconscious to the ground, was treated for non life threatening injuries at Mercy Hospital. The suspects were last seen running north on Dubuque St, randomly punching other males as they ran by them."

Whether verbally by the liberal media or physically by black youths, it seems that attacking whitey has become a sport in Iowa.

Black Youths Use Social Networking Sites to Coordinate Violence, Disrupt Memorial Day Activities in Suburban Rochester, NY

Seabreeze Amusement Park in Irondequoit, NY was unexpectedly closed this Memorial Day. For many years the historic amusement park (the fourth-oldest in the United States) has marked the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day. The park's owners didn't provide a reason for the closure, but the Rochester Police Department said there were rumors of a large fight to take place at the park.

The rumors of a large fight were true, and with Seabreeze closed, Rochester youths were forced to find a new location for their mayhem. They settled on The Mall at Greece Ridge, where an annual charity carnival called the Greece Festival for Youth was being held, and used social networking sites to get the word out.

That night, 200 teens converged on the carnival, half wearing yellow, the other in green, and began fighting. Greece Festival of Youth Organizer Bill Selke said, "They were running around, pushing, shoving, fighting. We just can’t afford to have anybody get hurt." The charity event was closed down a week ahead of schedule, and the 20-year-old event's future is now in jeopardy.

"We just can't guarantee that nothing's going to happen," said Selke. "And since Seabreeze set the tone and closed down, if Wilmorite [the owner of The Mall at Greece Ridge] doesn't close down and something bad happens, it would be bad for them."

Police made no arrests Monday night, but Greece Police Chief Todd Baxter says his department will not tolerate youth violence. Baxter, who took office in February, says he can't afford this bruise on the town’s image and the mall's reputation. "We're looking to find out where they came from...why they ended up at our mall."

Here's a hint for Todd: The youths came from the city of Rochester. In fact, black youths from the city have been responsible for a number of large fights at the Greece mall in recent years. Black youths used to congregate at Irondequoit Mall, but their ominous presence scared off white suburbanites (who used the mall for its intended purpose - to buy merchandise - rather than to simply loiter and fight), and that mall closed earlier this decade. Ever since, city youths have been taking the bus to The Mall at Greece Ridge to spread their mayhem. Hoping to avoid a repeat of what happened to Irondequoit Mall, The Mall at Greece Ridge's owners have instituted a number of new rules for teens in recent years, to little effect.

Add Rochester, NY to the growing list of cities across the country where black youths have used social networking sites to coordinate violence in white communities. Apparently most, if not all, of the violence in Greece was black-on-black, but it's only a matter of time before these teens attack a white family that's trying to enjoy a peaceful summer day at the amusement park or the mall.

White Men Turn Against Obama and the Democrats

According to an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times yesterday, millions of white men who voted for Barack Obama are walking away from the Democratic Party. The op-ed, titled Revenge of the white men, included this interesting fact:

"blue-collar white men, who make up only 11% of the workforce, constitute 36% of those who have lost jobs. In total, nearly half of the recession's casualties are white men, having held 46% of all jobs lost."

Unemployment is expected to remain high for the foreseeable future. But even after employment begins to pick up again, laid off white men shouldn't expect to get their old jobs back.

After President Obama was elected in 2008 he selected Robert Reich to be a member of his economic transition advisory board. In that capacity, Reich testified before Congress that criteria should be put in place to ensure that new blue-collar jobs go to women and minorities instead of "white male construction workers."

"Infrastructure spending is a very important and good way of stimulating the economy... The challenge will be... to find projects... that have a high social return... I am concerned, as I'm sure many of you are, that these jobs not simply go to high skilled people who are already professionals or to white male construction workers."

The Republicans at least pretend they're looking out for white men. The Democrats flaunt that they don't care about that segment of the population, and this November the white men might start to get their revenge.

South Philadelphia Neighborhood Again Rocked by Black "Flash Mob"

Thousands of black teenagers swarmed a South Philadelphia neighborhood Saturday night forcing businesses to lock their doors to keep their patrons safe inside. Several white workers were attacked, but none were seriously injured. A police captain says that gunshots were fired, but no one was hit. (Click here for a gallery showing images the mob as well as some white workers who were attacked).

A similar "flash mob" took place on the same street last May, in which black teenagers looted a convenience store, carjacked and crashed a taxi cab, and pulled white motorists from their vehicles and assaulted them. In addition to the two South Philly incidents, mobs of black teenagers have attacked pedestrians in the Center City neighborhood three times in the last three months.

Police say the black teenagers are using social networking sites to coordinate their mayhem. The flash mob last May was organized via the website OurSpace, which is "an online social location that provides African Americans a superior way to connect with others whom share similar experiences and perspectives." One of the Center City mobs was organized via Facebook, and last night's flash mob was organized via Twitter.

Update (3/22): Although the mainstream media continues to ignore the story, Drudge has posted a link to an article this incident: "2 Severely Beaten During Latest Philly 'Flash Mob'..." Early reports that no one was seriously injured were incorrect. A 27-year-old woman [race unknown] was brutally attacked after being surrounded by scores of people. The mob broke her nose and knocked out two teeth.

Update (3/25): The New York Times picked up the story and, amazingly, pointed out that the flash mob participants are black and the areas hit have been "predominantly white business districts." During the most recent flash mob, participants shouted "black boys" and "burn the city."

In the first photo, taken last night, black teenagers are shown rampaging through South Philadelphia. In the second photo, taken today, a white deliveryman shows off bruises he received after being attacked by the black mob.

These photos show the aftermath of a similar flash mob on the same street last May. The first photo shows a taxi cab that was carjacked and crashed. The second photo shows the arm of a white woman who was attacked.

Rochester, NY: Popeyes Employee Loses Eye In Violent Robbery

A white 24-year-old Popeyes employee was hit in the head with a crowbar by a black man during a robbery at the Penfield restaurant Saturday night. The injury to Benjamin Overmyer's eye socket was so severe that his right eye couldn't be saved.

Overmyer and other employees were preparing to close when two black men wearing masks entered the restaurant through a back door that had been left propped open. During the robbery, one of the men struck Overmyer on the right side of his face with a crowbar.

The Penfield Popeyes is one of the locations that ran out of chicken during a 8pc/$4.99 special last year. You've probably seen the video of black Rochesterians expressing their frustration at the fried chicken shortage (it has nearly 2 million hits on YouTube), but here it is in case you missed it.

Reversing the Trend, Time Magazine Says White Women Aren't Racist for Preferring to Date White Men

Last month I pointed out a double standard between white and black users of online dating sites: white women who indicate a preference for white men are labeled "racist" and "morally repugnant," while black women who prefer to date black men face no such rebuke (in fact, there are several dating sites exclusively for black singles).

In the article Seeking My Race-Based Valentine Online, which appears in the February 22 issue of Time, Jenée Desmond-Harris calls attention to the double standard and affirms that preferring to date a partner of the same-race doesn't make you a racist:

But do racial preferences amount to racism? Or is overlooking an entire ethnicity as innocuous as filtering out redheads or people under a certain height? "Just because you take race into consideration in your dating preferences and are aware of race doesn't make you racist," says Dr. Nicole Coleman, a psychology professor at the University of Houston. Minorities who prefer to date within their own race or ethnicity — and who look for potential mates on niche sites like BlackPeopleMeet.com and Amor.com — would probably agree with her.

The Media Finally Notice That the Eve Carson Murder Was an Interracial Crime

After University of North Carolina student Eve Carson was murdered in March, 2008, nobody in the media pointed out that the white student body president had been murdered by two black males.

But now that one of her killers is claiming he was the victim of racism and asking for leniency, the media have finally caught on to the interracial nature of the crime.

Attorneys for Demario Atwater allege "the overriding reason that Mr. Atwater was indicted in federal court was that he was a young, black male accused of killing a young, white female."

Atwater and his accomplice, Laurence Alvin Lovette Jr, kidnapped Carson from her home and made her withdraw money from several ATMs before shooting her five times. The cause of death was a shotgun blast that passed through Carson's right hand and entered her right temple.

Last year, Democrats in North Carolina passed the Racial Justice Act, which makes it easier for black killers like Atwater to play the race card and avoid the death sentence they rightly deserve.

Although Eve Carson was shot five times, the autopsy report showed that the cause of death was a single shotgun shot which passed through her right hand - which she had raised to protect herself - and entered her temple.

For the 8th Time in 27 Years, A Black Woman Is Crowned Miss America

A black woman, Caressa Cameron, has been crowned Miss America 2010.

As her Wikipedia entry notes, Cameron is the eighth black woman to win the title since 1984.

That means that over the last 27 years, 29.6% of the Miss America winners since have been black; blacks are only 13% of the U.S. population.

I guess the old stereotype that black women are more beautiful and feminine than white women is true.

Just kidding.

Richard Hoste of HBDBooks has come up with a more plausible explanation for why blacks are winning beauty pageants with increasing frequency all over the Western world:

Dating Site Double Standards

CBS has rejected a Super Bowl ad from ManCrunch.com, a "gay dating Web site." The rejected ad shows two men engaging in "a passionate, male-on-male make-out session" while watching the Super Bowl. The left is in an uproar, and CBS is being accused of "straight-up discrimination" for rejecting the ad.

This news comes the same week that eHarmony paid $2 million to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging the company discriminated based on sexual orientation by not performing same-sex matches.

Apparently, a straight-only dating site is immoral, but a gay-only dating site is just fine.

A similar double standard exists when it comes to dating sites that cater to racial preferences.

A Google search of the term "interracial dating site" reveals numerous websites that cater to people who have a preference for a race other than their own. Here are links to the top 3 sites, along with an image and quote from each:

"singles here start out with something in common, love for singles from other races, ethnicities. The common interest will help make dating easier and more effective."

"We specialize in bringing together singles who want to date different races."

It's not just whites and blacks seeking to date interracially who have specialized dating sites. A search of the term "black dating site" reveals numerous websites for black singles who prefer to date black. Here are the top 3:

"we bring single Black women and men together... this is the place Black people meet."

#2 - blackscene.com:

"one of the most popular sites for black dating and people looking for black personals on the internet"

#3 - soulsingles.com:

"where Black people meet for dating and friendship"

While there are plenty of sites for blacks seeking blacks, and whites and blacks seeking each other, there doesn't appear to be any dating sites for whites seeking other whites. In fact, when reclusive publishing heir William Regnery proposed creating such a dating site in 2004, he was attacked for it.

Whites seeking to date white can still use general-purpose sites such as eharmony or okcupid to find a partner - this is, if they don't mind being ridiculed and called racist because of their preferences.

Last fall, administrators at the dating site okcupid.com declared that "racism is alive and well." The reason? An internal analysis had showed that white women on their site "prefer white men." The administrators also alleged that white men using their site were "shitty" and "self-absorbed," because they didn't respond to non-white women as often as they did white women.

The okcupid administrators apparently agree with Washington Post Style Columnist Carolyn Hax, who last year wrote that white women who prefer to date white men are "racist" and "morally repugnant."

Would Hax or the okcupid administrators label people who sign up for interracialmatch.com or blacksingles.com racist? No, they wouldn't, even though the users on those sites have indicated they have a preference for a partner of a certain race.

In the online dating world, the only people who can be racist are straight whites who prefer to date other straight whites (i.e., whites who are looking to one day have white children).

A "Whites Only" Basketball League: An Idea Whose Time Has Come?

Don "Moose" Lewis's announcement that he plans to kick off a "whites only" basketball league has generated a lot of controversy this week. Lewis said he hopes to establish teams in a dozen southeastern cities for his all-white All-American Basketball Alliance.

Although no one is taking Lewis's proposal seriously, there likely is demand for a family-friendly alternative to the NBA.

In his essay Psychology and White Ethnocentrism, Kevin MacDonald suggested the reason NBA viewership has fallen among non-urban whites in recent years is because basketball is now widely perceived as a black sport. MacDonald also noted that the NBA has taken steps to bridge the racial divide between its black players and its largely white audience.

For example, in 2005 NBA Commissioner David Stern imposed a league-wide dress code, which mandates "Business Casual attire" and prohibits "Chains, pendants, or medallions" for all players whenever they are engaged in team or league business. As sports writer Gary Peterson noted, Stern might as well have told his players, "Quit dressing like typical young, urban African-Americans. You're scaring the fans."

Despite the dress code and the large penalties that have been imposed for fighting among players, black athletes continue to set the standards of behavior in the NBA. As J.B. Cash recently wrote of black sports in The Occidental Quarterly,

In the game, there is trash talking, preening and showboating, and poor sportsmanship. Outside the game, there is profligacy, degeneracy, misogyny, and crime. Many black athletes are also openly disdainful of white culture and values, and of whites themselves. White boys now have “role models” who hate the kind of men their fathers are, the kind of men they will grow up to be.

Lewis echoes Cash's concerns when he asks, "Would you want to go to the game and worry about a player flipping you off or attacking you in the stands or grabbing their crotch?"

The recent incident in which two Washington Wizards players drew guns on each other in the team's locker room demonstrates that the league has been unsuccessful in regulating the conduct of its black players. It's time white people had a family-friendly alternative to the NBA.

Black 15-year-old rapes an autistic white woman in broad daylight on a busy street

In Toledo, OH, a black teenager has been arrested for raping a white woman in broad daylight on a busy public street. The 26-year-old victim was on her way to the library when 15-year-old Anferney Fontenet grabbed her, held a pair of scissors to her neck, pulled her pants off, and raped her.

Several people witnessed the brazen daytime attack. One witness told emergency dispatchers, "I think that there's somebody ... raping somebody ... It's a black guy taking off the pants of a white woman and they're laying on the sidewalk... Her legs are all exposed, and he's between her legs."

Even before the transcript of the 911 call was released, there were a few clues that the victim was white.

For one thing, it was reported that the victim has Asperger syndrome. White people are more likely than black people to be diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.

Secondly, the victim was on her way to the library when she was attacked.

And finally, police said that the victim was targeted "at random."

They were taken to Orlando, where school officials are already making preparations for an influx of Haitian students. The Red Cross is planning to bring 45,000 Haitians to Florida.

But Florida won't be the only destination for Haitian refugees. 53 Haitian refugees have already been flown to Pittsburgh, PA.

In The Camp of the Saints the Indian masses invaded France by commandeering rusty, creaking ships. We're taking the initiative to transport the Haitian masses to our shore on large military aircraft.

Racist KFC Advertisements

KFC pulled an Australian television advertisement earlier this month after it was branded racist in the United States. The ad showed a white Australian cricket fan subduing boisterous black West Indian fans by sharing his fried chicken.

KFC described the ad as a "lighthearted commercial" that had been "well understood by Australian cricket fans." The company stressed that the ad was not intended for American audiences.

That's for sure. In the United States, KFC ads usually pair black men with white women.

Consider the latest American KFC ad, which is for Fiery Wings.

The ad begins with a black man taking a bite out of a KFC wing and hallucinating.

During his hallucination, the black man envisions a number of "fiery" things, including red peppers, an explosives detonator, a fire breather, and ... wait for it ... white women with luscious lips.

At the end of the ad, the black man is joined by another white woman. "Colonel, you're on fire," the black man says, and the white woman nods approvingly.

A few years ago, KFC ran a competition in which the company asked viewers to spot the subliminal message planted in an ad for their $.99 Snacker sandwich.

In the ad, a young black guy and a young white girl sat on a stairwell eating Snackers. The black guy had bought the Snacker with a dollar bill he had stolen from a white guy. Throughout the ad, the black guy and the white girl both mock the white guy whose dollar was taken.

Officially, the subliminal message was that a dollar bill had been spliced into a picture of the Snacker.

A second, more subversive message was that the black man had stolen more than the dollar bill from the white man.

The Avatar Controversy: There's No Pleasing Minority Activists

Near the end of the hit film "Avatar," the villain snarls at the hero, "How does it feel to betray your own race?" Both men are white — although the hero is inhabiting a blue-skinned, 9-foot-tall, long-tailed alien.

Strange as it may seem for a film that pits greedy, immoral humans against noble denizens of a faraway moon, "Avatar" is being criticized by a small but vocal group of people who allege it contains racist themes — the white hero once again saving the primitive natives.

What these critics are really saying is this: "I like the fact that the whites were defeated and killed, but I wish the minorities had been able to kill the whites on their own, without needing the help of a white race traitor."

Whites who celebrate and help facilitate white dispossession may delude themselves into thinking minorities respect and admire them for betraying their race. They don't.

The magazine Race Traitor, founded by Harvard lecturer Noel Ignatiev, once published an essay titled The White Anti-Racist Is an Oxymoron. In it, the minority author declared there is no such thing as a white anti-racist and argued racism will always be a problem as long as white people exist.

The author wrote, "white people need to be willing to have their very social position, their very relationship of domination, their very authority, their very being...let go, perhaps even destroyed. I know this might sound scary, but that is really not my concern. I am not interested in making white people, even those so-called good-hearted anti-racist whites, comfortable about their position."

Interpret that statement however you want. It's how minority activists feel.

Hate Groups: They don't make them like they used to

Ever since Barack Obama was elected in 2008, we've heard that the number of hate groups in this country is on the rise. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center (the left-wing, non-governmental organization responsible for compiling an annual list of hate groups), there are 926 active hate groups in the United States. (View the SPLC's map showing the number of hate groups by state.) That's a 54% increase since 2000.

But how accurate is the SPLC's list?

In 2006, the SPLC puzzled Vermonters when they declared the Klan was active in their state. According to the SPLC, the Brotherhood of Klans Knights of the Ku Klux Klan had an active chapter in the city of Rutland (pop. 17,292).

When a reporter for the Rutland Herald questioned the SPLC's Mark Potok about the validity of the group's claim, the only "evidence" of Klan activity in Rutland that Potok could produce was an archived copy of a defunct Web page listing a Klan post office box in Rutland. [Report says KKK is in Vermont, but others dispute claim. Gordon Dritschilo, Rutland Herald, June 12, 2007].

Potok explained to the reporter that the SPLC closely monitors the Web for any possible locations of hate groups, but makes no attempt to confirm the validity of each group before adding it to their hate groups list.

And like the TSA's No Fly List, once something is placed on the SPLC's hate groups list, it's nearly impossible to get it removed.

When Rutland residents and law enforcement personnel contacted the SPLC to tell them they'd made an error, the SPLC rebuffed them.

"Very frequently, authorities in a given community are surprised to find a hate group operating in their town or operating a mailbox, especially if it turns out to be a drop box," Potok explained, adding, "just because local police and local anti-racism groups don't know about it [the existence of a hate group] does not make it not true."

It's now 2010, and the SPLC still includes the dubious Rutland, VT chapter of the Brotherhood of Klans Knights of the Ku Klax Klan as an "active hate group" on its map.

The Law & Order Franchise Is Anti-White Propaganda

On his blog, Nicholas Stix recently reposted his 2003 article NBC’s Law & Order: Anti-White Propaganda in the Culture War in which he documented how Law & Order writers routinely take high-profile crimes committed by blacks and replace the bad guys with whites.

Although the article only covered episodes through 2003, I can verify the practice of switching the race of characters to show blacks in the most favorable light and whites in the least favorable light continues. When the Law & Order: Criminal Intent series based an epsiode on the Duke Lacrosse rape case in 2007, they pulled a double-switcheroo: the false accuser wasn't black, but the sympathetic athlete falsely accused of rape was.

Up until this weekend, this was the only episode of the Law & Order franchise I'd actually watched. I was bedridden with a stomach bug on Friday and Saturday, and I had the television on almost nonstop. While I was watching various movies and sports games, I would flip to episodes of Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit during the ads, and I was able to piece together the plots of several episodes.

I was able to confirm for myself that not only does the Law & Order franchise over-represent white people as criminals, but it actively conditions white people to not think of blacks as criminals.

In several episodes the initial suspect was a black male, but the real perpetrator turned out to be a white male.

In an episode of Law & Order: SVU, a white girl was found mauled by a tiger and shot to death. The previous day, she had hung out with a black rapper who owned a tiger. Was the black rapper guilty? No, of course not. Turns out it was a different tiger that mauled her. With the black rapper cleared of wrongdoing, the new suspects were two animal smugglers, one white and one black. But at the very end of the episode, it was revealed that the black smuggler was actually an undercover officer. The white smuggler was the lone murderer.

In an episode of Law & Order, a white woman was found shot to death inside a car a black thug broke into. Did the black thug shoot her? No, of course not. The woman’s white husband did.

Assuming the episodes I viewed were a random sample, non-white perpetrators aren't as rare as I thought they were. In three of the episodes I viewed, the perpetrator was black. But in all three episodes, the crime was shown to be a justified reaction to white racism or oppression, and the black perpetrator was portrayed sympathetically.

In an episode of Law & Order: SVU, a black transsexual woman tried to murder a white man who was opposed to letting his 13-year-old son begin "transitioning" into a woman. The black "woman" was portrayed as the real victim. By the end of the episode, the white father not only decided to let his son begin taking female hormones, but he came to the conclusion that the black transsexual had been justified in trying to kill him (since he was killing his son's soul). The father petitioned to have the attempted murder charges dropped, and the detectives agreed this was the proper thing to do.

In another SVU episode, an African war criminal held children hostage in a church after his bid for asylum was denied. The criminal was portrayed as a victim, and his actions were presented as a combined result of an uncompassionate immigration system and "stereotype threat".

And in an episode of Law & Order, a gang of black Harlem thugs murdered a white man they mistook for a police informant. The murder was portrayed as a justified reaction to recent incidents of police brutality, and the attackers got a slap on the wrist.

What did I take away from all this? Athena Kerry was correct when she wrote on the VDARE Blog that perpetrators on Law & Order are overwhelmingly white, and the occasional non-white perpetrator gets a "pity party." And Nicholas Stix was correct when he wrote that Law & Order writers seek "to cause whites to hate other whites, while being more sympathetic towards blacks."

In An Effort to Close the Racial Achievement Gap, Berkeley HS Eliminates Science Labs

In an effort to close the racial achievement gap, Berkeley High School plans to fire five science teachers and eliminate science lab instruction to free up more resources to help struggling minority students.

One teacher who supports the decision says not to worry about the white students left without a science lab: "The most academically prepared kids will get by. They’ll find tutors, they’ll learn the material one way or another. But the others won’t."

This is part of a national trend of high achieving white students being left to fend for themselves as schools and teachers shift their time and resources toward educational strategies aimed at lifting minority achievement. According to a report issued in 2008 by the Thomas B. Fordham Foundation, our nation's brightest students appear to be languishing for lack of attention since the passage of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) in 2001.

NCLB requires schools and districts to focus their attention on the academic achievement of students of "major racial and ethnic subgroups." While many previous state-created systems of accountability only measured average school performance, NCLB mandates that achievement gaps be eliminated between white and black students within the same school. Under NCLB, entire schools have been forced to close because of a handful of black students who are unable to keep up with their white peers.

In Houston, a high school with 2500 students was closed because not enough black students (who made up only 4% of the student body) were able to pass a state-mandated math exam. The school had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars implementing a new math program designed to boost math scores among blacks. It was unsuccessful, and because a handful of blacks couldn't pass the test, nearly 2400 white and Hispanic students had to be relocated to other overcrowded schools.

Across the country, any classes or programs that are seen as benefiting whites are being eliminated. In 2008, the College Board cited minority underrepresentation as the reason for the elimination of the Advanced Placement exams in Computer Science, Latin Literature, Italian, and French Literature. [The AP Spanish exams are still offered, presumably because Hispanics tend to do well on them.]

Schools no longer care about achievement itself; the racial achievement gap is the only thing that matters. And since programs designed to raise minority achievement haven't closed the racial achievement gap, steps are now being taken to deliberately hinder white achievement.

"Anti-Violence Activist" Charged with Murder

Anti-Violence Activist Charged With 17-Year-Old Murder

(ROCHESTER, NY) - Two people have been arrested in connection with a nearly two-decades old murder. One of the suspects is a well-known anti-violence activist currently in prison for assault.

Joyce Powell and 35-year-old Shaliq Reed are charged with murder in the case of John Rutledge. Rutledge, who police said was a well-known drug dealer, was found on the side of a road back in 1992. Rutledge's body was found in the town of Carlton, about 40 miles west of Rochester.

The 47-year-old Powell, who used the title of "Reverend," was well known for organizing anti-violence crusades in Rochester, and was an outspoken critic of police. In 2007 however, she was convicted of brutally assaulting a woman, who was beaten with a baseball bat and thrown out a window. Powell was sentenced to spend 16 years behind bars.

The Looming Crisis in Human Genetics: Studies Show Recent Human Evolution Has Resulted in Significant Genetic Differences Between Races

There is a looming crisis in the field of human genetics which will become public knowledge within the next year. In 2010, dozens of research papers will be released that identify specific genes associated with almost every imaginable heritable trait - including intelligence and personality. These findings have alarming political implications because they show that recent human evolution has resulted in inequalities and genetic differences between ethnicities and races.

This is what evolutionary psychologist Geoffrey Miller reported last month in The Economist.

In his book Spent: Sex, Evolution, and Consumer Behavior, released earlier this year, Miller writes that "the central intellectual taboo of modern American life" is the refusal to "talk about meaningful psychological differences between groups."

Perhaps the most important psychological trait that differs between groups is conscientiousness, which Miller defines as self-control, willpower, reliability, consistency, dependability, trustworthiness, and the ability to delay gratification and pursue long-term goals. Males with low conscientiousness are often unreliable, undependable, impulsive, flaky, and downright criminal. They tend to be more comfortable with chaos, and are more apt to leave young females pregnant and single.

Miller explains that conscientiousness differs between groups because it has evolved in the past ten thousand years during man's transition from hunter-gatherer to farmer and herder.

Because hunter-gatherer life did not require as much planning and memory for debts and duties as life in larger-scale societies with more complex divisions of labor, conscientiousness may have evolved to higher average levels only recently, and perhaps in some populations more than others. Only with the rise of activities like agriculture and animal herding would our ancestors have needed the sort of anxious obsessiveness and future-mindedness that characterize the highly conscientious.

The chronology of the spread of agriculture is well known. Farming appeared first in the Fertile Crescent of Southwest Asia by 9500 B.C., and over the next few thousand years spread in all directions including northwest to Europe. But because of geographic barriers in central and southern Africa, agriculture did not reach that region until 1000 BC.

Once agriculture was introduced into a region, it's likely that natural selection favored farmers who were able to accumulate wealth by deferring gratification and working hard even when there was already enough food to eat. Because sub-Saharan Africa adopted agriculture only relatively recently, there was less time for genes for high conscientiousness to be selected for.

It's long been suggested that blacks are less "future-minded" than whites (or, to put it in economic terms, blacks have a "higher time preference" than whites). By casual observation, blacks seem to focus more on their well-being in the present and the immediate future and place less emphasis on their well-being in the further future.

Recent studies have confirmed the stereotype that blacks engage in more conspicuous consumption and save less for the future than whites.

A 2008 study conducted by finance professors at the Wharton School and the University of Chicago found that blacks spend 30% more than whites of comparable income on visible goods such as fashionable clothes, jewelry, and flashy cars.

Because they spend so much of their discretionary income on bling, blacks have less money than whites to save and invest. According to Emory Law School Professor Dorothy A. Brown, blacks "tend to invest into stocks a lot less, in percentage terms, than white Americans in the same income brackets."

The inability of blacks to delay gratification and plan for the future is usually blamed on whites. For example, in 2006 the Seattle Public Schools' Equity and Race Relations Department declared that "having a 'future time orientation'" is an example of white cultural racism.

Even though in the coming years genetic studies will reveal that differences in conscientiousness among whites and blacks are partly the result of differential evolution, we can't expect the mainstream media to abandon the blank-slate model of human differences. It's up to us to educate ourselves and our loved ones about the science of human diversity and its consequences.

To get the ball rolling, here's some advice Miller provides for white middle-class suburban boys: avoid succumbing to the influences of rap and hip-hop music. Young white males may think they're displaying "coolness, attitude, and street cred" when they mimic black rap stars, but they're really advertising low conscientiousness. This will repel well-adjusted white girls, who possess an (evolved) inclination for highly conscientiousness men.

Black Students Attack 26 Asian Students at Philadelphia High School; CBS Blames Whites

Yesterday the Associated Press posted an article about a series of interracial assaults at South Philadelphia High School. The school is 70% black and 18% Asian, and the assaults were almost all black-on-Asian. All of the 10 students suspended for the attacks are black or Asian.

While the AP article makes it clear from the start that the racial tensions at the school are between black and Asian students, the article by the local CBS affiliate assigns equal blame to white and black students for the violence. Reporter Elizabeth Hur quotes an "unidentified student" who says, "It was blacks and whites and they saw the Asians at the school, it all started with an argument." The article makes no further mention of the race of perpetrators.

South Philadelphia High School is only 6% white and has been labeled "persistently dangerous" by the state. The white students are probably being victimized just as badly as the Asian students are. Unfortunately, they just don't have an interest group like the "Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corp." looking out for them.

The mainstream media didn't pick up the AP article, and the Drudge Report, which has highlighted a number of disturbing interracial assaults committed by blacks since the inauguration of Barack Obama back in January, decided to link to the sanitized CBS article instead of the more factual AP article. Beside for people who live in the Philadelphia area, readers of pro-white blogs and forums are the only ones aware of this latest example of black violence.

While a couple enjoy a conversation at a party, the host sets a Digiorno Ultimate Toppings pizza on a table.

The weight of all the ultimate toppings causes the table to fall through the floor.

Overlooking the giant hole in his floor, the host proceeds to argue with two stoned white guys in the apartment below about who is the rightful owner of the pizza. The couple looks on curiously.

As the arguing continues, the couple migrates to the host's right...

then back to his left. They're in every shot!

Realizing he won't be getting the pizza back, the host shows his frustration. The couple, who have remained calm throughout the incident, lose interest in the pizza and turn to resume their conversation.

Is it me, or is there more than just pizza this ad is trying to sell?

Rochester, NY: Hispanic Man Who Murdered Four White People Given Standing Ovation Upon Return to Jail

While mayor Bob Duffy was answering questions from the media yesterday about the shooting of two Rochester police officers on Tuesday night [the officers are white, and the suspects are black, as if you couldn't guess], he was asked about Frank Garcia, the Hispanic man who earlier this week was convicted of murder.

Garcia killed four white people on Valentine's Day. He shot Mary Sillman, a 23-year-old nurse, as she was reporting to work at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport. He also shot Randall Norman, a passerby who came to Sillman's aid when he saw Garcia roughing her up. After murdering Sillman and Norman, Garcia drove to Canandaigua, where he murdered Christopher and Kimberly Glatz.

The similarities between Lovelle Mixon and Maurice Clemmons are striking.

Both men are black. Both served time in jail on gun charges. Both raped a 12-year-old girl. And both murdered four white police officers before being killed by police.

My guess is yes. Although Clemmons sustained a serious gunshot wound during his coffee shop ambush, he was able to elude capture for nearly two days with help from a network of friends and family who gave him places to stay, medical aid, rides and money. Clemmons clearly has a number of supporters in Seattle's black community.

Denver, CO - 32 Young Black Men Arrested for Months-Long Series of Racially Motivated Assaults

The Denver Police Department has arrested 32 young black men after a months-long undercover investigation into what police said were racially motivated assaults.

A task force composed of Denver police, the FBI and the Denver district attorney's office investigated 26 incidents in which groups of black males racially harassed and assaulted white or Latino males. Victims were punched in the head, resulting in head injuries, broken noses and shattered eye sockets. Luckily, no one was killed during the months of attacks.

In cities across the country, this past summer saw several instances of racially motivated assaults on white people. Back in June, this blog reported on rampant black-on-white violence in Baltimore and Philadelphia.

In Baltimore, 40 police officers were assigned to patrol the waterfront each night this summer after a month-long rash of black-on-white attacks. Twelve such assaults were recorded in a single night, including one in which an off-duty police officer was nearly killed. In all the incidents, the white victims were attacked from behind and punched and kicked in the head by groups of black males and females.

In Philadelphia, over one hundred black teens stormed through the streets on consecutive weekends targeting white people for assault. One white woman required hospitalization after the teens swarmed her vehicle, pulled her out by the hair, forced her to the ground, and dragged her along the pavement. The black youths used the black-oriented social networking site OurSpace to coordinate their mayhem.

Thanks to government-funded vouchers that allow blacks to move into white neighborhoods, black-on-white violence is no longer confined to the cities. In suburban Cincinnati this past May, police broke up a black youth gang that targeted white people for assault. In one attack, a deaf 18-year-old girl was viciously assaulted by three black youths as she left a library. In another attack, a 53-year-old white man suffered a dislocated jaw after he came to the aid of yet another white victim.

Think your neighborhood is safe? It won't be for long.

This past summer, the Obama administration announced their intent to integrate racially segregated neighborhoods across the country. Overwhelmingly white communities will be forced to spend millions of dollars to create affordable housing and aggressively market it to non-whites. Soon their will be no refuge for white people.

Update, Monday 11/23: The Denver Post acknowledges that the recent racially motivated attacks in Denver appear to be part of a trend spreading across the country. I'm sure the ADL and the SPLC will be speaking out any day now to denounce these racist black-on-white attacks.

Why Does The Media Continue to Take Black Women Seriously?

The headline story on the CNN web site right now is about the trial of a young woman who was arrested three years ago for disorderly conduct at a Missouri Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart employees allege Heather Ellis shoved merchandise and yelled profanities so loudly they could be heard at the back of the store. A customer charges Ellis threatened her with violence. And police say Ellis repeatedly kicked one responding officer in the shin and another in the face.

Ellis tells a different story. In her version, Wal-Mart employees stole her money, and multiple customers hurled racial slurs at her and threatened her with violence. When police arrived, they too directed racial slurs at her, and one of them roughed her up.

As one legal analyst put it,

There are five police officers. They're all saying the same thing. There are at least four other witnesses within the Wal-Mart store. They're all saying the same thing. She [Ellis] has a completely different version of the facts.

So why is this a major national news story?

Because Ellis is black, the employees, customers, and police officers are all white, and in the American media the word of one deranged black woman is worth more than the word of a dozen upstanding white people.

Recall that in the Duke Lacrosse rape hoax in 2006, the rambling and contradictory rape allegations made by a black prostitute were given more weight than the assurances by nearly four dozen white Duke University students that no rape had taken place. The students' denials only fueled the media's anger, as it was reported that witnesses were protecting the rapists by erecting a "blue wall of silence."

It's time for the media to stop taking black women like Heather Ellis and Crystal Mangum seriously.

Update, Friday 11/20: In a follow-up article, CNN reports that Ellis has pleaded guilty and said she is "taking responsibility for her actions." The article ends with a quote from Ellis's father, who says Ellis had refused to accept an earlier plea deal "because she was taught to never admit guilt when you're innocent." Why would CNN end the article with a quote implying Ellis's innocence after she has admitted guilt?

Also, CNN is reporting more details of the surveillance tapes from the Wal-Mart which were played in court on Thursday. The tapes show Ellis shoving merchandise, raising her arm in the air as police lead her out of the store, and kicking backward at police as they try to put her into a police car. The tapes don't show police assaulting Ellis.

In other words, the surveillance tapes discredit Ellis's account and corroborate the testimony of the white employees, customers, and police officers. CNN knew this incident was nothing more than a clear-cut case of "TNB" when they posted yesterday's article suggesting "racial bias" in a "racially charged community."

The coverage of this case further corroborates Richard Hoste's observation that CNN is obsessed with black people.

The BNP Is the Only Party That Will Remedy Labour's Treasonable Immigration Policies

In yesterday's column in the Telegraph, British political commentator Gerald Warner wrote that the only way to reclaim Britain from Labour's potentially "treasonable" immigration agenda is "a total and indefinite moratorium on immigration, coupled with an effective campaign to remove all illegals."

What is this "treasonable" immigration agenda Warner is referring to?

A former adviser and speech writer to Tony Blair and Jack Straw disclosed last month that Labour deliberately threw open Britain's borders to mass immigration earlier this decade in order to make the UK more diverse. Andrew Neather says the driving political purpose for increasing immigration levels was the desire "to make the UK truly multicultural."

By flooding the country with immigrants, Labour hoped to deracinate London's "white British mainstream" and "rub the Right's nose in diversity." For fear of alienating the "core white working-class vote," Labour dissembled their true motives and publicly touted an economic need for more migrants.

Although the Conservatives and Lib Dems may exploit Neather's revelation for short-term political gain, they're ultimately not going to remedy Labour's treasonable immigration policy.

When British National Party chairman Nick Griffin appeared on the BBC's Question Time program last month along with Jack Straw, Conservative community cohesion and social action spokesman Sayeeda Hussain Warsi, and Lib Dem home affairs spokesman Chris Huhne, Warsi and Huhne denigrated Griffin for his efforts to protect the interests of the indigenous British population and offered only tepid criticism of Labour's immigration policies.

What I took away from the program is that all the major political parties are in favor of continued massive immigration which will eventually reduce the indigenous British population to minority status. Although the Conservatives share the long-term aims of Labour, they disagree over the most effective short-term tactics. Labour thinks things are basically fine as they are, while the Conservatives fear that demographic changes are occurring at such a rapid rate that resentment will continue to build among the indigenous British population unless something is done.

Warsi, a British-Pakistani Muslim, suggested on Question Time that "the pace" of immigration be slowed temporarily. This would diminish BNP support and allow the major parties to try to re-establish trust with the "core white working-class" voters they have alienated. Once the indigenous British population has been pacified, and support for the BNP has subsided, immigration levels would presumably be ramped up again.

The Conservatives' call for a modest reduction in immigration is insufficient; a total moratorium is needed. The British National Party is the only political party that will pass the reforms Warner is calling for. They're the only party that will remedy Labour's treasonable immigration agenda.

Friend of White 15-Year-Old Gang Rape Victim Speaks Out, Says White Students Felt Unsafe at Richmond HS

"My name's Kami Baker. I'm a junior here at this school. I participate actively in APs [and] honor classes... I am friends with the girl [who was raped]. When I started here, I felt extremely unsafe and so did she, due to the lack of police officers and security officers... Here at this school, me and my sister are minorities... there are Mexicans and blacks around me everywhere."

Richmond High School is 78% Hispanic and 2% white.

Update: The Contra Costa Times has confirmed the 15-year-old gang rape victim is white and all but one of the rapists are Hispanic or black, and the San Francisco Chronicle has reported more disturbing details of the attack.

The white girl was propositioned for sex, and she said no. The gang of minorities told her they were going to have sex with her anyway, and began beating and raping her.

The rape lasted 2 1/2 hours. As many as 10 men sexually assaulted the white girl while another 20 looked on, laughing and snapping pictures.

The white girl was discovered, semiconscious, beneath a picnic table. Her face was purple and blue and she wasn't moving. She was injured so severely she had to be flown from the scene in critical condition.

The Contra Costa Rica assures readers that the rape had absolutely nothing to do with race and asserts that the attack "could have just as easily happened in a wealthy suburban neighborhood." At the same time, the San Francisco Chronicle reports that the gang rape was the "inevitable" result of "the poverty-driven frustration of inner-city Richmond."

These two claims are clearly contradictory, and are merely attempts to deflect attention away from the racial aspect of the crime. The rape has been blamed on poverty; violent and misogynist video games, music, and language; dim lighting and inadequate fencing; etc. Basically, everything is a cause except race according to the media.

(During the Duke Lacrosse rape hoax, the media had no trouble mentioning the interracial nature of the alleged crime. Even after it was becoming known that that case was a hoax the Washington Post began an article on the case with the sentence, "She was black, they were white, and race and sex were in the air.")

Jay Leonhardy, whom the San Francisco Chronicle describes as a "nationally recognized community organizer," says that, "As awful as this attack was, just maybe it can represent a teachable moment. If people pay attention."

Leonhardy is right; this attack is a teachable moment. And that's why the media is working so hard to make sure white people take away the wrong lessons from this vicious crime.

East St. Louis Refuses to Hire White Police Chief, Replaces White Officers with Blacks

Two white city officials in East St. Louis allege in a federal lawsuit that they were fired for their advocacy of a white candidate when the chief's job was open in 2007. Wyatt Frazer and Della Murphy recommended Ronald Grimming, an experienced white officer who had served as deputy superintendent of the State Police and director of the Florida Highway Patrol.

Mayor Alvin Parks told Frazer he was rejecting Grimming because of his race, saying, "the city wasn't ready to hire a white police chief." At Parks' urging, the city hired Michael Baxton, a less qualified black candidate.

Parks and Baxton proceeded to fire not only Frazer and Murphy but also several white police officers without cause. The white officers were replaced with black officers, some of who had criminal records, including one who took the oath of office despite an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic battery.

The allegations made in the lawsuit are disturbing, but not surprising. Parks' rejection of Grimming is confirmation that there's a glass ceiling for white males in urban police departments, a topic which was a plotline on the HBO drama The Wire.

In the fourth season of the show, white Baltimore city councilman Tommy Carcetti decides to challenge the incumbent black mayor, Clarence Royce. "You're the wrong color, you're not electable," Carcetti is told, but he persists. When Carcetti proves a formidable opponent, the Royce campaign resorts to blatant racial pandering. They print campaign posters in African nationalist colors emblazoned with the slogan "Mayor Royce makes US proud."

Baltimore's white police officers overwhelmingly support Carcetti, and some of them work to actively subvert the Royce campaign. Major Stanislaus Valchek leaks information on the death of a witness, and Deputy Commissioner of Operations Bill Rawls informs Carcetti when he learns that an influential black state delegate is displeased with Royce and might be willing to defect to Carcetti's camp.

After Carcetti wins the election, Valchek is rewarded with a promotion to Deputy Commissioner of Administration, but Rawls, who has reached the glass ceiling for white males, is denied a deserved promotion to Commissioner. Carcetti and his staff candidly cite Rawls' whiteness as the reason why he can't be appointed Commissioner.

Rawls seems crushed when he realizes he's been passed over because of his race, but Valchek laughs and reminds him, "Jesus, Bill, it's Baltimore. You ain't one of the natives, are ya?"

Given what's alleged to have taken place in East St. Louis, Valchek's words ring true. Ronald Grimming was the most qualified candidate for the position, but because he's white he didn't receive the job. Grimming may be a Metro-East resident, but he ain't one of the natives.

Why White Girls Go Black and What Happens When They Go Back

The Knoxville torture slayings in a nutshell: Naive white girl falls for black boy. Black boy beats white girl. White girl finally leaves black boy. Black boy and his black friends take out their anger by raping, torturing, and killing the first white couple they come across.

The white girl in this story is Daphne Sutton (pictured with child). The black boy is Lemaricus Davidson. The murdered white couple was Channon Christian and Chris Newsom.

WBIR.com in Knoxville has just released details of the conversations Daphne Sutton had with Knoxville Police shortly after the murders. Sutton revealed to police that she had only known Davidson for two weeks when she moved in with him at 2316 Chipman Street. She said she had never dated a black man before, and her mind was clouded by drugs:

"I've been living with my parents for like a year and a half, and I really can't stand it. You know how it is, living with your parents. So I met him, and he was getting this house and asked me to move in with him, and I guess just the first person to take care of me I jumped into. I don't even date black guys, my kids are white, so I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I really don't. Maybe, I don't know, the drugs, the weed."

Davidson regularly beat Sutton, and eventually she left him and moved out. The very next night, Davidson and some of his black friends carjacked a white couple that was out on a date. Letalvis Cobbins, Davidson's brother, testified that Christian and Newsom "was uh kissing in the car or whatever" when Davidson carjacked them and drove them back to his Chipman Street home.

There, Newsom was beaten and anally raped, before being shot three times. His body was set on fire and left by some railroad tracks.

Christian was killed only after hours of sexual torture. Knox County Acting Medical Examiner Dr. Darinka Mileusnic-Polchan has testified that Christian suffered horrific injuries to her vagina, anus and mouth. She was raped in all three orifices and then further sexually violated with a broken chair leg.

Channon was beaten in the head with enough force to cause bruising on her brain. A chemical was poured down her throat, and her body, including her bleeding and battered genital area, was scrubbed with the same solution.

Christian was then "hog-tied," and her face was covered tightly with a plastic trash bag. Davidson stuffed her into a large trash can in the kitchen, and commented that he needed to "take out the trash." Christian died slowly in the trash can, suffocating. A few feet away, her exhausted killers celebrated their long night of rape and murder with a "hearty breakfast of sausage, biscuits, oatmeal and eggs."

During the night, while Channon was still being raped, Davidson called Daphne Sutton and invited her back to his house, telling her he had a gift for her. While Channon Christian was being guarded in the bathroom by Vanessa Coleman (a black woman), Davidson presented his ex-girlfriend with a Sears bag containing Channon's clothing and jewelry.

There's no question these crimes were racially motivated. Davidson was angry his white girlfriend had left him, and when he saw a young white couple kissing he snapped and decided to take his anger out on them. The Knoxville authorities didn't quite see things this way.

Astonishingly, the authorities considered the fact Davidson's white girlfriend had just left him to be a mitigating factor in their decision not to seek hate crimes charges. The District Attorney actually said, "We know from our investigation that the people charged in this case were friends with white people, socialized with white people, dated white people. So not only is there no evidence of any racial animus, there's evidence to the contrary."

Imagine a white male trying to claim he can't be charged with a hate crime because he has socialized with black people in the past. People would just laugh. In fact, a 14-year-old white boy in suburban Chicago was charged with a hate crime last year for using a racial epithet toward his black girlfriend after she broke up with him.

Rochester, NY: City Residents Carjack and Rape Pregnant Suburban Woman

Two men from the city of Rochester, NY were arrested for carjacking a pregnant woman from a suburban Rochester plaza last Tuesday night. Court documents reveal the suspects tore off all the victim's clothing and forced her into the backseat of her car, where she was raped.

The victim begged the suspects to stop raping her, fearing they would kill her unborn baby. Instead, the suspects repeatedly threatened to kill the woman (and her unborn baby) by shooting her in the stomach. After the 90 minute ordeal, the suspects tied the victim up and left her by the side of a rural road.

On Thursday, the local NBC news affiliate interviewed State Assemblyman David Koon, whose 18-year-old daughter Jennifer was carjacked at the tony Pittsford Plaza in 1993. The college sophomore's battered and bullet-ridden body was discovered a couple hours later in a seedy alley in the city of Rochester. Semen recovered from Koon's body led to the conviction of Willis Knight (he now goes by the name Rasool Khadafi, following a jailhouse conversion to Islam), a city resident.

Koon noted there are "a lot of similarities" between this week's carjacking and his daughter's 16 years ago, but left unmentioned (by Koon and by NBC News) was the fact that in both cases white women in the suburbs were victimized by young black males from the city.

The refusal to confront the obvious racial aspect of the carjackings is reminiscent of the mainstream media's coverage of the abductions and murders of college students Eve Carson and Lauren Burk in spring 2008. Initially the media spent countless hours analyzing the similarities between the two cases, but after the murderers were captured not one commentator pointed out the glaring fact that both young white women had been murdered by black men. Instead, the coverage shifted, rationalizations were made, and institutional forces took the brunt of the blame. Carson's murder became an indictment of North Carolina's ineffectual parole system, while Burk's murder was attributed to the military's failure to screen returning Iraq veterans for mental health disorders.

In the autobiographical work Soul on Ice, influential black writer Eldridge Cleaver recounted how in his younger days he purposely targeted white women for rape. Cleaver wrote, "I crossed the tracks and sought out White prey. I did this consciously, deliberately, willfully, methodically... Rape was an insurrectionary act. It delighted me that I was defying and trampling upon the White man's law... and that I was defiling his women... I felt I was getting revenge. From the site of the act of rape, consternation spreads outwardly in concentric circles. I wanted to send waves of consternation throughout the white race." [bold added for emphasis]

Federal crime statistics suggest that black males continue to "cross the tracks" to seek out white prey.

Of the 111,490 single-offender rapes committed against white women in the U.S. in 2005, Department of Justice statistics show that less than half (44.5%) were committed by white men and a full one-third (33.6%) were committed by black men. (Only 13% of Americans are black.) Of 28,350 multiple-offender rapes, only 9% were committed by groups of white men. 30% were committed by groups of black men, and 43% were committed by mixed-race groups.

Victim's advocacy groups report that the majority of women who are raped are victimized by someone they know, while the rest are victimized by strangers. It's hard to see how one-third of the white women in either group could be raped by black men. After all, interracial friendships and relationships are still not very common, and most neighborhoods remain racially segregated.

How are all these interracial rapes occurring? The most likely explanation is that black men continue to venture into the suburbs to seek out white prey.

NBC News: Whitey Responsible for Chicago Teen's Murder

The videotaped beating death of a high school student in Chicago has made national headlines this week. Even the White House has chimed in, with spokesman Robert Gibbs calling the attack "among the most shocking that you can ever see." Gibbs offered no explanation for the Chicago killing, saying, "in many ways a lot of these crimes are amazingly hard to explain."

TheGrio, an African-American news site launched in June by NBC News, has an explanation for the murder: Whitey is responsible. In an op-ed posted this morning on the TheGrio (and linked to on the MSNBC front page), Dr. John D. Márquez writes that black-on-black youth violence is caused by the "long history of systemic and structural anti-black racism."

Even when there is some visibility towards that bloodshed, it tends to be characterized as a product of poor choices, lack of discipline, lack of morals, uncensored popular culture, and a lack of family values within our inner city communities. Rarely is a long history of systemic and structural anti-black or anti-Latino racism considered. This is due, in part, to the fact that the hyper-visibility of our Obamas and Winfreys drastically reduces the significance of that history. Even when grassroots activists from the very communities stricken with rampant violence protest against youth violence, they tend to blame it on their neighbors more than they do on the despair that they face in communities where jobs, adequate schools, affordable housing, and even environmentally healthy living conditions are scarce.

We deserve a more critical perspective. There has never been a moment in U.S. history when black or Latino communities have not been stricken by these social ills. Such a fact does not derive from any primordial characteristic of blacks or Latinos. This is a reflection of the fact that those two ethnic groups in particular (with apologies to Native Americans) have been constructed as the most direct anti-thesis of the morally sound and ethical self image that whites have created for themselves as representatives of this nation.

Race-based Student Discipline Introduced In American Schools

The Tucson Unified School District in Tucson, AZ has developed a 52-page plan called "Restorative School Culture and Climate" which establishes a race-based system of student discipline (see the II. Discipline heading on page 25 of the document).

According to the plan, the "Department of Student Equity" will work to "minimize referrals and suspensions, especially those of African-American and Hispanic students," by implementing disciplinary policies that demonstrate a "commitment to social justice."

The Department of Student Equity will review monthly suspension/expulsion data by school and investigate disparities among black and white students. Where disparities are found, the school district will "take immediate action... to correct them."

Schools will be directed to use "restorative practices" to reduce racial disciplinary disparities, and every year the Department of Student Equity will offer professional development training to school staff on how to implement such practices.

I wasn't familiar with "restorative" practices, so I looked it up on Wikipedia:

"Restorative justice is a broad term which encompasses a growing social movement to institutionalize peaceful approaches to harm, problem-solving and violations of legal and human rights.. Restorative resolutions engage those who are harmed, wrongdoers and their affected communities in search of solutions that promote repair, reconciliation and the rebuilding of relationships. Restorative justice seeks to build partnerships to reestablish mutual responsibility for constructive responses to wrongdoing... Restorative approaches seek a balanced approach to the needs of the victim, wrongdoer and community through processes that preserve the safety and dignity of all."

In other words, when a black student viciously beats a white classmate on a school bus he won't be punished. Instead, the two will take part in a mediated dialogue to examine the root cause of the conflict and establish mutual responsibility. The mediator will conclude the black student lashed out in response to racism, and the white student will be told that if he agrees to be less racist maybe the black student will keep his hands to himself in the future.

Washington Post: White Women Who Prefer To Date White Men Are "Racist"

White women who don't date black men are "racist" and "morally repugnant." That's what Washington Post Style Columnist Carolyn Hax wrote in response to a letter from a young white woman who has no problems with interracial relationships in general, but feels they just aren't for her.

Although Hax wrote it was "horrifying" the young woman had no interest in dating black men, the truth is the questioner was expressing the prevailing view of interracial dating among white women.

While most whites express approval of black-white marriages in general (78% in 2007, up from 4% in 1958), studies have shown that white women still display strong personal preferences for a white partner. One study found that, after controlling for all other attributes (height, weight, attractiveness, etc.), a black man would need to earn $216,500 to be as appealing to a white woman as would a white man earning $62,500.

By depicting interracial relationships as normal and inevitable, and branding any individuals who don't date interracially as racist, people like Hax are trying to abolish the white race by changing the racial dating preferences of young white women. Unfortunately, Hax has a large audience. Her column is carried in more than 100 newspapers and is geared toward people under the age of 30.

ABC News Alleges Band Of White "People Hunters" Killed Innocent Blacks Following Hurricane Katrina

ABC News is using the four year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina to spread the rumor that vigilante bands of white "people hunters" roamed the streets of Algiers Point ("a historically white enclave") in the days after the hurricane hit looking for innocent black people to kill*. Although the white residents of Algiers Point likely did arm up and wall off neighborhoods to prevent black evacuees from looting, anything beyond that is wild speculation.

The allegation that white residents of Algiers Point murdered black evacuees is just the latest in a number of baseless rumors that black activists and white liberals have spread in the four years since Hurricane Katrina. Most of these allegations have been disproven, such as the claim that blacks were less prepared to evacuate New Orleans than whites and therefore had a higher death rate.

In September 2005, Barack Obama said that Hurricane Katrina showed "how little inner-city African Americans have to fall back on. They could not load up their families in a van, fill it up with $100 of gasoline, throw some bottled water in the back and check into a hotel with a credit card." Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean took it a step further, declaring, "Race was a factor in the death toll from Hurricane Katrina... We must come to terms with the ugly truth that skin color... played a deadly role in who survived and who did not."

In reality, blacks were underrepresented among the dead. While the population of the disaster area was 61% black and 36% white, blacks only accounted for 51% of the deaths. 44% of those killed were white.

The fact is, it was whites who were especially in danger of being victimized in the hurricane's aftermath. When a group of nine white Australian tourists sought refuge in the Superdome, the white women were repeatedly pestered and grabbed by black men. Other whites, including an English girl who had been nearly raped in a bathroom but managed to escape, joined the Aussies. The small group of white people sat huddled on the concourse, with the women in the middle and the men around the outside.

One of the men described the group's palpable sense of fear, telling Australian media that, "The girls were in real danger. We knew we had to stick together. We were a minority group inside a stadium with 25,000 people."

In light of this first-hand testimony of the savagery of many of the Katrina survivors, it would be wrong to condemn the white citizens of Algiers Point who took precautions to prevent Katrina evacuees from entering their neighborhoods. After welcoming thousands of Katrina refugees, Houston, TX experienced a spike in violent crime including murder. By taking up arms and defending themselves, the people of Algiers Point may have avoided a similar fate from befalling their community.

Hate Crime Recording: The Deck Is Stacked Against Whites

The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating a string of recent anti-Mexican bias attacks in the Bronx. Over a three-day period, five Mexican immigrants have been attacked. Four of the victims were beaten; one was stabbed. Anti-Mexican epithets were used during the attacks.

So who is committing these heinous assaults? White people?

No. And yes.

The suspects in all of the attacks are believed to be Dominican, making these hate crimes Hispanic-on-Hispanic. But since the FBI doesn't track Hispanic hate crime suspects, these attacks in the Bronx are all recorded as white-on-Hispanic.

Don't believe me? Here's a link to the FBI's Hate Crime Incident Report. In the 'Bias Motivation' section, 'Anti-Hispanic' is listed. Yet in the 'Suspected Offender's Race' section, Hispanic is not listed. Hispanic suspects are recorded as 'White.'

This asymmetrical reporting has important implications when it comes to hate crimes involving Hispanics and whites.

'White' is a Suspect category and 'Anti-Hispanic' is a Bias category, so white-on-Hispanic hate crimes are recorded as such. But because Hispanics aren't a Suspect category, the only way to record a Hispanic-on-white hate crime is as a White-on-White hate crime. Since this is rather illogical, it's common for prosecutors to simply not pursue hate crimes charges in Hispanic-on-white attacks.

(As an aside, it should be pointed out that even though Anti-White is a Bias category on the FBI's Hate Crime Incident Report, many prosecutors don't consider whites to be a 'protected class' and they are therefore reluctant to treat any anti-White crimes as hate crimes. When Attorney General Eric Holder testified before the Senate in June, he repeatedly claimed that hate crime laws are not designed to protect whites.)

For example, last month in Denver a 49-year-old white woman was killed when she was intentionally run-over by a Mexican driver. A witness told police that immediately before the hit-and-run the suspects shouted, "We're Mexicans! We'll kill you white bitches!"

Rather than prosecute the murder as a White-on-White hate crime, the prosecutors went to great lengths to sanitize the witness's statement of any evidence of anti-White bias. The word "white" was removed from the indictment, and "white bitches" was shortened to just "bitches."

Anti-white violence is rarely treated as bias crime, while internecine violence between Hispanics is recorded as white-on-Hispanic bias crime. When it comes to hate crime recording, the deck is clearly stacked against whites.

As a result, in the fewer than 10,000 hate crimes recorded each year, more than half the suspects are white. At the same time, there are 650,000 total interracial violent crimes committed in this country each year, and 90% of them are black-on-white.

By devoting an inordinate amount of attention to flawed hate crime statistics and ignoring overall violent crime patterns, the media gives an inaccurate portrayal of violent crime in America.

The Obama administration is planning a major revival of high-impact civil rights enforcement. Obama's 2010 budget included an 18% increase in funding for the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. Additional lawyers will be hired to file civil rights charges in employment, housing, bank lending, and voting rights cases.

The Justice Department's renewed interest in voting rights cases is conspicuous.

In May, Eric Holder's Justice Department announced it was dropping voter intimidation charges against three members of the New Black Panthers Party. The three black men had brandished nightsticks and threatened white voters outside a polling station in Philadelphia last election day. One of the Panthers yelled, "You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker!"

Bartle Bull, a former civil rights lawyer and the publisher of the left-wing Village Voice, called the incident "the most blatant form of voter intimidation I've ever seen." Eric Holder disagreed.

In the Attorney General's mind, requiring all voters to furnish proper identification is racist, but yelling racial slurs and threatening white voters with violence is perfectly acceptable.

How's it feel to be ruled by the black man, cracker?

Eric Holder's Justice Department, which recently dropped voter intimidation charges against members of the New Black Panthers Party who threatened white voters during the 2008 election, just announced they will be hiring additional civil rights lawyers to file voting rights complaints on behalf of African-Americans.

Black Racial Favoritism Thrives in "Post-Racial" America

A group known as the Black Leadership Forum has released a memo urging black voters in Atlanta to unite around African-American mayoral candidate Lisa Borders in order to block the election of white candidate Mary Norwood.

The memo reads, "For the last 25 years Atlanta has represented the breakthrough for black political empowerment in the South... In order to defeat a Norwood (white) mayoral candidacy we have to get out now and work in a manner to defeat her without a runoff, and the key is a significant Black turnout."

Atlanta's population is 57% black and 38% white. No white candidate has mounted a serious campaign for the office of mayor since 1973.

The Wall Street Journal's article quotes a prominent African-American political scientist who defends the Black Leadership Forum's memo. Bob Holmes, a Clark Atlanta University professor who serves as the editor of a publication titled The Status of Black Atlanta, calls the attempt to protect black political clout in Atlanta "inevitable."

The Obstacles of Being a White Candidate in a Majority-Black District
This latest example of overtly racial political campaigning underscores the obstacles white candidates face when running for office in majority-black areas.

There are only two white members of the U.S. Congress who represent majority-black districts. One of them is Steve Cohen, who in 2006 became the first white congressman elected to represent Memphis, TN since 1974. Since taking office in 2007, Cohen has worked to represent the interests of his black constituents.

Cohen attempted to join the Congressional Black Caucus, an organization with the stated goal of "positively influencing the course of events pertinent to African-Americans." Although the bylaws of the caucus do not make race a prerequisite for membership and specifically prohibit any discrimination, Cohen was denied membership because of the color of his skin. Rep. William Lacy Clay, Jr., D-Mo. explained why the CBC rebuffed Cohen:

"Mr. Cohen asked for admission, and he got his answer. He's white and the Caucus is black. It's time to move on. We have racial policies to pursue and we are pursuing them, as Mr. Cohen has learned. It's an unwritten rule. It's understood."

Undeterred, Cohen went on to introduce a resolution formally apologizing for slavery in the United States. This conciliatory jesture didn't stop Cohen's black 2008 challenger from running television ads linking him to the Ku Klux Klan. Memphis's Black Ministerial Association backed the challenger, Nikki Tinker. One minister expressed what was likely the opinion of many members of the group when he said of Cohen, "He's not black, and he can't represent me, that's just the bottom line."

Cohen prevailed, but in 2010 he'll face a more formidable black opponent in Memphis mayor Willie Herenton. Although Cohen is the incumbent, Herenton has "deeper roots" among African-American voters and is thus widely viewed as the favorite.

The Obstacles of Being a White Candidate in a Minority-White Country
In the 2008 presidential election, Barack Obama defeated John McCain 96% to 3% among black voters. In the months prior to the election, the media obsessed over whether Obama would be harmed by the "Bradley effect" - the groundless belief that a large number of the white people who publicly profess to support the black candidate will secretly vote for the white candidate when they enter the election booth. In contrast, little attention was given to the demonstrative evidence that blacks preferred Obama over Hillary Clinton and John McCain because Obama is black.

Some white liberals acknowledged that blacks supported Obama because of his race, but they justified this racial favoritism by noting the historic nature of the 2008 election. According to this line of thought, the fact that blacks have been voting for white presidential candidates for over a hundred years is evidence that they'll continue to support white candidates in the future. It's not worth discussing blacks' racial favoritism in the current election because it's not something that will be repeated in future elections. Once the first black president has taken office, America will become post-racial, and blacks will evaluate subsequent candidates without regard to their race.

The black racial solidarity on display in Atlanta and Memphis calls into question the belief that Obama's victory ushered in a post-racial era. It seems there was nothing unique about the incredible level of support Obama received from the black community in 2008. Future black presidential candidates will likely enjoy similar levels of absolute support.

If the election of a black candidate signifies black political empowerment, then that candidate's subsequent unseating by a white challenger naturally signifies black powerlessness. A large number of blacks will rally around a black candidate to prevent what they see as the loss of black political clout.

Once whites are a numerical minority in the United States, it will become increasingly difficult for white candidates to be democratically elected at the national level. There will eventually be a point where whites are simply unable to acquire the votes necessary to win the presidency. The fear is that from that moment forward, the United States could come to resemble present-day South Africa, and whites would be powerless to stop it. If this isn't the future whites want, they should take a lesson from the Black Leadership Forum and work to protect their own political clout.

New York Times: Save the Planet by Having Fewer White Babies

According to a recent article in the New York Times, the most effective way for an American woman to lower her carbon footprint is by not reproducing. The Times reports that having children is the surest way to negate other energy-saving behaviors and send your carbon footprint soaring:

Take, for example, a hypothetical American woman who switches to a more fuel-efficient car, drives less, recycles, installs more efficient light bulbs, and replaces her refrigerator and windows with energy-saving models. If she had two children, the researchers found, her carbon legacy would eventually rise to nearly 40 times what she had saved by those actions.
"Clearly, the potential savings from reduced reproduction are huge compared to the savings that can be achieved by changes in lifestyle."

Since whites are the only people who take environmental sustainability and the dangers of climate change seriously, it goes without saying that this hypothetical American woman is white. But in case any of the white NYT readers didn't realize the article was directed at them, a picture of a pregnant white belly accompanied the article.

It may seem ironic that articles encouraging population reduction are being aimed at white women, given that white Americans have the lowest fertility rate of all races. The white fertility rate is only 1.86, which is below replacement level; the Hispanic fertility rate is 60% higher, at 2.99.

Due to continued immigration and differential fertility rates, it's estimated the Hispanic population in this country will triple by 2050. During that time, the total American population is expected to soar to 420 million, even as the white population decreases. This chart from NumbersUSA shows that immigration is fueling America's population growth.

Importing millions of highly-fertile immigrants from the developing world will increase our country's carbon footprint much, much more than convincing whites (who are already reproducing at below replacement levels) to have fewer children will reduce it. This is just common sense.

If we were serious about reducing our country's total carbon footprint, we would restrict immigration and exhort Hispanics and other fecund minorities to lower their fertility rate to replacement level.

That liberals can simultaneously advocate for population reduction measures and massive immigration from the Third World may seem perplexing. These two seemingly contradictory views can be reconciled by realizing that the liberals' true goal is not to reduce the carbon footprint, but to reduce the white genetic footprint.

Update: This is not a strictly American phenomenon. In the UK, the Muslim population is growing an astonishing 10 times faster than the rest of society. Like in America, the white population is reproducing at below replacement levels, and immigration is fueling the population growth. Yet when The Daily Mail urged its readers to save the world by having fewer children, this is the picture they chose to use:

Obama Administration to Require White Communities to Build Low-Cost Housing for Minorities

In an agreement that will have "a sweeping effect on communities nationwide," Westchester County officials have agreed to spend more than $50 million "to create affordable housing in overwhelmingly white communities and aggressively market it to non-whites in the county and in neighboring New York City."

The agreement settles a lawsuit filed against the county by an organization called the Anti-Discrimination Center. County officials had fought the lawsuit for three years, but settled because of what County executive Andrew Spano calls "a historic shift of philosophy" by federal housing officials.

Under the Obama administration, the Department of Housing and Urban Development is intent on integrating the most racially segregated neighborhoods in not just Westchester County but across the country. HUD Deputy Secretary Ron Sims says the Westchester County settlement "can serve as a model for building strong, inclusive sustainable communities in suburban areas across the entire United States."

So what's in store for Westchester and other suburban counties across the country?

For one thing, higher crime.

For years the federal government has been tearing down public housing projects in inner cities and giving the displaced residents Section 8 vouchers which allow them to rent housing in upscale suburban neighborhoods. According to an article last summer in The Atlantic, police have discovered there is a "near-perfect" match between Section 8 rentals and incidents of violent crime.

Second, lower levels of civic health.

In what was the largest study ever conducted on civic engagement in America, Robert Putnam, a liberal Harvard University professor, found that "all measures of civic health are lower in more diverse settings." Specifically, Putnam found that "the greater the diversity in a community, the fewer people vote and the less they volunteer, the less they give to charity and work on community projects. In the most diverse communities, neighbors trust one another about half as much as they do in the most homogenous settings."

Although all the research indicates otherwise, racial diversity is still regarded as a civic strength. Treacly "fair housing" radio ads recently produced by the National Fair Housing Alliance tout racial and ethnic diversity as the key to happiness, success in the global marketplace and, not least, an interesting life.

And, as reported on this blog last month, Money Magazine's recently released list of the 100 "Best Places to Live" in America arbitrarily excluded towns that are more than 95% white from consideration. According to Money, towns that don't have their share of drive-by shootings and psychotic Haitian immigrants who go around beheading people are sad, unsuccessful, and boring places.

The whole country's about to get a lot more exciting.

New Strategy in Combatting "Racial Profiling"

In May, Britain's Home Office released a list of 16 people barred from entering Britain because of their promotion of hatred, terrorist violence or serious criminal activity. In a list made up primarily of Muslim extremists and neo-Nazis, one name stood out: conservative American radio host Michael Savage.

Savage, who has 8 million listeners, does not advocate political violence. He decried his name being placed on the list, saying, "To link me up with skinheads who are killing people in Russia, to put me in league with Hamas murderers who kill people on buses is defamation."

Savage, who had not even applied for entry into Britain, speculated his name had been "plucked out of a hat" because he was "controversial and white."

Correspondence just released under Freedom of Information legislation reveals that Savage's assumptions were correct. E-mails written by Home Office officials privately acknowledged the ban on Savage would provide "balance" to a list dominated by Muslims.

This latest revelation doesn't come as a surprise, as it's in keeping with other recent disclosures reported in the British press. Last month a report issued by a UK government watchdog group found that "white members of the public are being unlawfully detained by the police in order to give 'racial balance' to stop-and-search statistics.

The terror threat against Britain is largely from Islamic extremists, but police know they will be called "racist" if they disproportionately stop-and-search Muslims. To avoid accusations of racial profiling, the police regularly carry out searches on white people they have no basis for suspecting are involved in criminal activity.

Coming to America?

President Obama denounced supposed racial profiling by law enforcement during a prime-time press conference last week. After proclaiming that white Cambridge Police Officer Sgt. James Crowley had "acted stupidly" in arresting Harvard professor Henry Gates, Obama deplored the fact that blacks are "being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately" in this country.

The truth is, blacks are stopped by law enforcement more frequently than whites, but only because they commit crimes at a disproportionate rate. According to the study The Color of Crime, released in 2005 by the New Century Foundation, "blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery." The study found that, when the disproportionate crime rates are adjusted for, police and the justice system are not biased against minorities.

Traditionally, police have responded to accusations of racial profiling by "de-policing," wherein officers ignore certain crimes committed by members of visible minorities. For example, during New York City's Puerto Rican Day Parade in 2000, police officers refused to help the dozens of white and Hispanic women who were being sexually assaulted in Central Park, because they had been given explicit instructions to go easy on black and Hispanic miscreants.

Police are left in a difficult position. If they go easy on black criminals, the crime rate soars and they're blamed for not doing their jobs effectively. If they crack down on black criminals, they're accused of racial profiling.

In an effort to placate Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, look for more police departments across the country to adopt the "racial balance" strategy currently being used in the UK. By cracking down on black criminals, but also targeting innocent white people to achieve "racial balance," the crime rate will fall without the police being accused of racial profiling.

Obama's Disingenuous Remarks Before the NAACP

President Obama spoke at the NAACP convention earlier this month. Here's an excerpt from his speech:
But make no mistake: The pain of discrimination is still felt in America. (Applause.) By African American women paid less for doing the same work as colleagues of a different color and a different gender. (Laughter.) By Latinos made to feel unwelcome in their own country. (Applause.) By Muslim Americans viewed with suspicion simply because they kneel down to pray to their God. (Applause.) By our gay brothers and sisters, still taunted, still attacked, still denied their rights. (Applause.)

All four of the claims made in the preceding paragraph are disingenuous, for different reasons.

First of all, it's hypocritical for Obama to condemn (white) Americans for denying rights to gays and viewing Muslims with suspicion, given that Obama himself opposes gay marriage and Muslim supporters of his were barred from appearing with him on camera at campaign stops in 2008.

Obama's second point, about Latinos feeling unwelcome in their own country, seems artfully vague: it's unclear whether he's referring to the Latinos who are already American citizens or the 12+ million illegal alien Latinos who will become citizens if an amnesty bill passes.

The topic of the remainder of this post is Obama's first claim: "The pain of discrimination is still felt in America... By African American women paid less for doing the same work as colleagues of a different color and a different gender."

In fact, a study released in 2005 by the Census Bureau found that black women with a Bachelor's degree earn nearly 9% more than similarly educated white women. The average salary for a black woman is $41,100 - vs. $37,800 for a white woman.

It's true, on average black women earn less than white men. However, it's disingenuous for Obama to assert, without evidence, that the pay gap between white men and black women is the result of discrimination, while ignoring the inconvenient fact that black women out-earn white women.

Notice the double standard at work here. Disparities in achievement that favor whites are unquestionably viewed as the result of racism and discrimination; disparities that favor blacks aren't.

Filmmaker Craig Bodeker explores this disconnect in his most recent film, A Conversation About Race.

Bodeker interviewed a number of people, black and white, who had no problem in stating there are certain fields where black people excel due to their skill (e.g. basketball). Yet when these same people were asked to name an area where white people excel due to their skill, they couldn't think of one.

Bodeker hammers the disconnect: in areas where people of color excel, we credit them for their capabilities; in areas where white people excel, we condemn them for their racism.

"Best Places To Live" List Excludes White Towns

The August 2009 issue of Money includes the magazine's annual list of the 100 "Best Places to Live" in America (the full list is available online). This year, the magazine looked at towns with population 8,500 to 50,000. As in previous years, Money has arbitrarily decided to exclude towns that are 95% white or greater from consideration:

CNNMoney's Best Places database of 1,800-plus U.S. cities includes towns with populations 8,500 to 50,000 with satisfactory education and crime scores, where income is below 200% of the state median, and that are no more than 95% white – as well as cities with populations 90,000 and up.

Not surprisingly, the top 4 towns on the list are between 90% and 95% white, and less than 2.5% black.
1. Lousville, CO (pop. 18,800; 91.17% white, 0.93% black)
2. Chanhassen, MN (pop. 23,700; 94.9% white, 0.75% black)
3. Papillion, NE (pop. 22,200; 93.02% white, 2.46% black)
4. Middleton, WI (pop. 16,900; 92.08% white, 1.97% black)
(Note that the #2 town on the list is 94.9% white. If the white population was just 0.1% greater, the town would have been excluded from consideration.)

Surprisingly, the #5 town (Milton, MA) is less than 90% white, and over 10% black.
5. Milton, MA (pop. 25,400; 85.4% white, 10.2% black)

Milton seems to be an unusual pick for #5, given that there were two double-murders in the small town last year. Money notes that "Crime in Milton is low, but not nonexistent. A drive-by shooting occurred last summer and two people were killed by a troubled family member last March."

Although Money doesn't mention it, both double-murders involved black victims and, most likely, a minority suspect.

In March 2008, 23-year-old Haitian immigrant Kirby Revelus killed two of his sisters and injured a third. Revelus beheaded his 5-year-old sister in front of police, who shot him as he then chased after his 9-year-old sister with the knife.

Four months later, in July 2008, two black men, 26-year-old Asa Finley and 37-year-old Rodney Almond, were killed in a drive-by shooting. According to police, the shooting was "not random." Finley and Almond were killed on their way home from a club called The Vault Room.

The Vault Room had recently installed metal detectors after a series of violent disturbances, including a stabbing. In 2005, a man was murdered in the parking lot of the club. In that incident, a Hispanic Boston police officer drove the getaway car.

As American becomes less white, it's only a matter of time until Money decides to only consider towns that are less than 90% white for inclusion on its "Best Places to Live" list. At that time, Milton may be chosen as the "best place to live" in America. That's a scary thought.

Money's list would be more accurate if the magazine stopped arbitrarily excluding towns they deem too white. There are still many small towns in this country where violent crime is not just "low", but truly "nonexistent." It's no coincidence that these towns are almost entirely white.

Black NY State Senate Leader Fired 200 White Staffers and Replaced Them with Minorities

After Malcolm Smith became the first black Majority Leader of the New York State Senate this January, he and other top state Democrats fired 200 white staffers and replaced them with minorities. According to the New York Post:

During the first five months of this year, with the Senate under the control of its first African-American majority leader, [Malcolm] Smith, top Democrats bemoaned the lack of minority Senate staffers.

But instead of trying to recruit new hires, they fired nearly 200 almost exclusively white workers and replaced them with a large number of minority employees, many of whom were seen by their fellow workers to be unskilled at their new jobs.

The move produced severe racial tensions, made worse by the fact that, as a high-level Democratic staffer confided, "We've been told to only hire minorities.''

Prior to the Republican coup in the State Senate in early June, Smith also served as the Acting Lieutenant Governor under David Paterson. Like his former lieutenant, Paterson has a history of firing white workers because of the color of their skin.

After he was elected as the first black Senate Minority Leader in 2002, Paterson fired a white photographer in order to replace him with an African-American. Paterson's chief of staff, John McPadden, candidly told the white photographer he was being fired because of his race, and said, "You got to remember who Sen. Paterson is. Sen. Paterson is black."

The fired white photographer, Joseph Maioriello, filed a federal racial-discrimination lawsuit, and was awarded $300,000 earlier this year. If each of the 200 fired white Senate staffers file suit and are awarded an equal amount, it will cost the cash-strapped state $60 million.

NY Governor David Paterson and his former Acting Lieutenant Governor Malcolm Smith. Paterson and Smith both fired white workers and replaced them with minorities upon being elected to leadership positions in the New York State Senate.

Attorney General Holder: Whites Not Protected by Hate Crime Laws

On the night of June 1, 2008, a mob of nearly two dozen black teenagers stormed through the streets of Mount Clemens, Michigan, robbing and beating any white person who crossed their path (see article here).

One white man was talking on a payphone outside a gas station when he was accosted by the mob. He tried to run into the gas station to safety, but the attendant had already locked the door when he saw the mob approaching. As the man desperately pounded on the locked door, he was surrounded by the mob and savagely beaten. Workers would later have to wash the victim's blood from the front of the door.

In an even more violent incident, a car driven by Andy Kaufmann, a 29-year-old white father of three, was surrounded and a brick was thrown through the window. Andy was beaten unconscious and left with a fractured skull. He sustained permanent brain damage and will never be the same. Andy's wife Angelina, who was sitting in the passenger seat on the night of the attack and who watched helplessly as her husband was nearly killed, laments, “I miss the Andy I used to know."

In light of the brutality of the crimes committed that night, the sentences handed down were extremely lenient. The man who threw the brick at Kaufmann's car and instigated the attack, 17-year-old Deonte J. Williams, was sentenced to only 19 months in prison.

In a radio interview shortly after the attack, Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel was asked why hate crime charges were not sought, which would have resulted in stiffer penalties. Hackel responded that he didn't consider hate crime laws to be applicable since Kaufmann is white, and therefore not a member of a "protected class." Hackel said, "I don’t know if it [hate-crime legislation] applies to an unprotected class, and I don’t know if whites are part of that. I’m not sure.”

In hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder settled Hackel's question of whether hate crime laws protect whites: they don't.

Holder repeatedly claimed that hate crime laws are designed to protect only groups that were targeted for violence on a "historic basis," such as African-Americans, Hispanics, Jews, and gays. (Holder's testimony can be viewed in its entirety by clicking the 'webcast' link here. He lists the groups he considers to be protected between 73:30 and 74 minutes).

Holder's repeated charge that blacks were "historically" targeted for violence betrays the fact that in modern times they rarely are. In fact, according to the Justice Department's own statistics, in only 10% of the 650,000 violent interracial crimes that occur each year in this country are white offenders attacking black victims.

In 90% of interracial violent crimes, whites are being attacked by blacks. Attacks on white individuals and couples by mobs of black youths are all too common in this country. On this blog, I've recently written about recurring black-on-white mob attacks taking place in Philadelphia and Baltimore.

If any racial group is being targeted for violence in this country, it's whites, by blacks. If any group is deserving of special protection from racially motivated violence, it's whites.

Teens Use Social Networking Site to Coordinate Attacks

Using an online social networking site to coordinate their actions, a tech-savvy mob of teens terrorized a South Philadelphia neighborhood Saturday night, targeting both people and property. A convenience store was looted, a taxi cab was carjacked and crashed, and several innocent bystanders were attacked (see article here and video here).

One woman, who required hospitalization, was at a stop light when the teens swarmed her vehicle. The teens pulled her by the hair and forced her to the ground, where she was dragged on the pavement.

Witnesses say more than 100 youths took part in Saturday's mayhem. A similar rampage took place the previous weekend, and police say this is a growing problem.

According to ABC-6, police believe the teens are using the social networking site OurSpace to coordinate the attacks. According to their web site, OurSpace "is an online social location that provides African Americans a superior way to connect with others whom share similar experiences and perspectives."

The teens were participated and the mayhem were black, and the woman who was pulled from her vehicle is white, making this an interracial crime. Needless to say, the racial aspect of the violence hasn't been explicitly mentioned in the media. If 100 white teens had used a white-oriented social networking site to coordinate an attack on a black woman, we can be sure the attack would have been labeled a "hate crime" and the story would have been national news.

More Racially Motivated Attacks Reported in Baltimore

The Baltimore Sun reports that an increasing number of Baltimore residents and tourists have been victims of random, unprovoked attacks in the downtown area over the past month by roving groups of young people.

The victims report being attacked from behind while they walk, punched and kicked in the head and upper body by groups of males and females. Items are rarely taken, so police don't believe robbery is a motive.

In one of the attacks, a man was repeatedly kicked in the head while a knife was held to his girlfriend's face. Marisa Parish, 29, watched helplessly as her boyfriend, George Williams, 35, had his head kicked back and forth like a soccer ball. After one of the attackers told her boyfriend "You're dead," Parish broke free and tried desperately to protect her boyfriend's head. Parish was knocked unconscious, but she did save her Williams' life.

The attacked couple was white, and all of their attackers were black. The victims believe race was a factor in their assault. One of the black attackers accused the man of shouting a racial epithet; the couple denies this.

According to the article, the attack on Williams and Parish was only one of the 12 assaults that occurred that night in Baltimore. Although the article doesn't mention the races of the suspects and victims of the other 11 attacks, we can safely guess that most of the attacks were black-on-white. There have been a number of gruesome black-on-white attacks in Baltimore in recent years.

In December 2007, Sarah Kreager, a 26-year-old white woman, suffered broken facial bones after she was punched, kicked and dragged off a bus in Baltimore by a group of black youths. The group also attacked Kreager's boyfriend and menaced an elderly white passenger. Kreager's beating was so vicious that two seats and the bus’s rear glass were destroyed during the attack. The Maryland Transit Authority initially said it was investigating the attack as a hate crime, but no hate crimes charges were ever filed.

As in the recent beating of Williams and Parish, Kreager's attackers tried to blame the victim by claiming she had used the word "nigger." This tactic is commonly used to try to deflect blame onto white victims. For example, Mychal Bell, the 4-time convicted jevenile felon who was one of the Jena 6, claimed the white student he knocked unconscious had used the word "nigger;" dozens of other witness statements, by white and black students, disputed this allegation.

Less than a week after the attack on Kreager, two white men were beaten by a group of black youths on another Baltimore bus. One of the victims, Patrick Green, was adamant that he had been the victim of a hate crime. "It was a hate crime against me because I was white. I did not know these gentlemen. The whole time during the beating it was, 'white this, white that.' They didn't want anything from me except to see me beaten."

Following this second bus attack, Baltimore mayor Sheila Dixon (who is under indictment) publicly refuted Green's allegations, declaring that the motives for the attacks were "not race based." In response, Green asked the Maryland Transit Authority officials to release surveillance video of the attack, saying it would prove the beating was a hate crime. The MTA refused Green's request.

Instead, the MTA introduced a program to monetarily reward black students who pledged to refrain from attacking white people while riding the bus. Discount cards good at local businesses were handed out at the African American Heritage Festival to students who pledged good behavior.

The victims of the bus attacks were lucky in that they lived to tell what happened to them. Other white victims haven't had the opportunity to tell their story.

In April of 2006, Jennifer Morelock and Jason Woycio were fatally shot in Baltimore. A 17-year-old black youth was caught with a cell phone that had the sent text message “I killed 2 white people around my way 2day & 1 of them was a woman.”

What seemed like a slam-dunk, open-and-shut murder case went south when the Baltimore state’s attorney’s office cut the teen loose because the arresting officer had only a consent search to look at the cell phone’s contents, not a warrant. The murderer walked.

When whites accused of harming non-whites are acquitted, either by an "all-white jury" or on a legal technicality, politicians and black activists step forward to demand the white suspects face federal "civil rights" charges. When non-whites avoid prison after killing whites, as in the Morelock and Woycio murders, demands for civil rights charges aren't made and the cases are quietly dropped altogether.

In November 2008, Aysha Ring, a 24-year-old white woman, was waiting in line at a liquor store when David Aaron Briggs, a 23-year-old black man, walked up behind her and slit her throat. Ring was taken to Shock Trauma, where she died. Briggs didn't say or take anything during the stabbing.

Hate crimes are defined as crimes in which the offender's criminal act is motivated, in whole or part, by his/her bias. FBI guidelines list a number of factors that, when combined, are support for a finding of a hate crime. Several of these factors were at play in one or more of the incidents described in this article:

1. The offender and the victim were of different race

All of the assaults described in this article involve black offenders and white victims.

2. Bias-related oral comments, written statements, or gestures were made by the offender which indicated his/her bias.

Racially-abusive language was during many of the attacks.

5. The victim is a member of a racial ... group ... who is overwhelmingly outnumbered by members of another group

Baltimore is 65% black and 30% white. The 2 bus beatings and the recent beatings in the Inner Harbor area all involve large groups of young black boys and girls attacking one or two white individuals.

6. The victim was visiting a neighborhood where previous hate crimes have been committed against other members of his/her race ... and where tensions remain high against his/her group.

40 Baltimore police officers are assigned each night to patrol the waterfront, but they seem powerless to stop the rash of recent attacks.

7. Several incidents have occurred in the same locality, at or about the same time, and the victim(s) were all of the same racial group.

In December 2007, two black-on-white beatings occurred within a week of each other on MTA buses. Recently, there has been a rash of black-on-white beatings in the Inner Harbor area.

Most of the crimes described in this article appear to meet the definition of a hate crime, yet none of them have been prosecuted as such. The black-on-white attacks will continue, and there will be more victims like Sarah Kreager, George Williams, and Marisa Parish, until white people in Baltimore stand up and take action to protect themselves.

Obama Allocates Additional $1.25bn for Black Farmers Scam

President Barack Obama has repeatedly vowed to cut wasteful government spending, and his 2010 budged released earlier this month specifically cuts $17 billion from more than 120 programs. One item included in the 2010 budget is $1.250 billion in settlement funds to bring to a closure the long-standing black farmers' lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The black farmers' case began in December 1996, when President Clinton, after observing a handful of black farmers demonstrating in the park across from the White House, told his Agriculture Secretary, Dan Glickman, to "keep those people out of my back yard." The following month, Glickman announced, without any evidence to back up his charges, that racial discrimination was "rampant" in the USDA.

This "admission" of racism prompted the class action black farmers' lawsuit Pigford v. Glickman (a.k.a. the Pigford case), which the USDA decided to settle rather than fight. As part of the settlement, the government would pay $50,000 to any African-American who "farmed, or attempted to farm" and who alleged discrimination.

No documentation or proof of discrimination was required of claimants, and the judge acknowledged that most claimants "would have recovered nothing if they were required to prove their cases by the traditional preponderance of evidence standard." The settlement was an open invitation to fraud.

Indeed, numerous fraud rings were organized all over the country. It's said that most of the residents of one New York City housing project submitted claims. And in one confirmed case, the perpetrators of a fraud ring in Mississippi murdered a woman who was planning to testify against them.

The USDA spent $450,000 publicizing the settlement. Advertisements were placed in 100 black-oriented papers, and 44 commercials were run on BET. The advertisements generated 139,000 inquiries, and 111,000 people requested the forms necessary to file a claim.

90,000 people eventually filed claims. Since the USDA counts only 18,500 black farmers in the US, the number of people who attempted to collect was more than five times the number of black farmers in the entire country.

To date, 13,000 claimants have been paid roughly $1 billion. Over 70,000 of the claims received haven't been paid because they were filed after the deadline. In a vdare essay, March explains why so many of the claimants delayed submitting their claims:

Many of these tardy filers were afraid to file because they feared the whole process was a government "trap" to jail them for fraud. Only after they saw friends and neighbors actually receiving the $50,000 for claims they knew to be phony did their greed overcome their fear—but
by then the deadline had passed.

President Obama has long championed these cautious swindlers.

In 2007, then-Senator Obama charged that "thousands of black farmers who had valid claims were denied relief, mostly because they missed the cut-off date for claims."

Now that Obama has allocated $1.25bn in the 2010 budget to settle their claims, many of these 70,000 swindlers will receive their $50,000 windfall.

Teenage Gang Terrorized Suburban Neighborhood

An article in the Cincinnati Enquirer tells that police in Westwood, Ohio, a suburban neighborhood of Cincinnati, have broken up a youth gang responsible for a slew of recent violent crimes. Although some of the members were as young as 12, the boys roamed in a pack, drawing power from their numbers. "It was mob mentality," is how one police lieutenant has described the gang's attacks.

According to police, the gang targeted white victims because they believed white people would be more compliant and less likely to retaliate than black people. One of the white victims was an 18-year-old deaf girl who was attacked by three gang members after being followed out of a library.

Another victim was Dennis Wall, a 53-year-old white man who was attacked as he came to the aid of yet another victim. Wall blacked out during his attack, and he slumped unconscious onto the pavement. He suffered a dislocated jaw, which his dentist estimates will cost $10,000 to repair. Since insurance won't pay and he can't afford to pay it himself, Wall says "I just live with it."

Police say the gang had a well-defined hierarchy, which consisted of baby gangster, gangster, old gangster, prince and finally, king. Anyone who wanted to advance through the ranks had to randomly attack a white person. Each member who participated in an attack was awarded one "point"; if the white victim was successfully robbed, six points were awarded. For every six points, a member would earn a "promotion" up the hierarchy.

Even though the gang's violence was racially motivated, police aren't using the term "hate crime" to describe the attacks. This isn't surprising; the black people who targeted whites for violence during the 2001 race riots in Cincinnati also weren't charged with hate crimes. Although it was largely ignored by the mainstream media, an article in the June 2001 issue of American Renaissance accurately described the widespread violence against whites that took place during the riot:

There is no doubt that once the rioting began, it became an excuse for anti-white violence. Blacks surrounded whites unlucky enough to be driving through black parts of town, pulled them from their vehicles and beat them. A white truck driver who was inside a store making a delivery, came out to find blacks trying to steal his truck. The crowd shouted “Kill him! Kill him!” as blacks took turns beating and kicking him. A black mob attacked an albino black woman, Roslyn Jones, throwing bricks at her car and shouting they would “get the white girl.” “The first piece of white skin they saw, they hit it,” says Miss Jones, whose attack did not stop until someone noticed she was black.

American Renaissance might be wrong when they say whites learned nothing from the 2001 riot. The nearly 500 comments left in response to the Cincinnati Enquirer article demonstrate that many whites are aware of the problems caused by forced integration.

One poster who cautioned against turning the gang violence into a racial issue made an unintentionally revealing comment when he wrote that the problems in Westwood stem from government vouchers which have allowed poor [black] residents to rent and purchase housing in thriving [white] neighborhoods.

For years the federal government has been tearing down public housing projects in inner cities and giving the displaced residents Section 8 vouchers which allow them to rent housing in suburban neighborhoods. According to an article last summer in The Atlantic, police have discovered there is a "near-perfect" match between Section 8 rentals and incidents of violent crime.

Increased levels of violent crime is no doubt one of the reasons that "all measures of civic health are lower in more diverse settings." This was the finding of Robert Putnam, a liberal Harvard University professor. In the largest ever study on civic engagement in America, Putnam found that "the greater the diversity in a community, the fewer people vote and the less they volunteer, the less they give to charity and work on community projects. In the most diverse communities, neighbors trust one another about half as much as they do in the most homogenous settings."

Although all the research shows that forced integration has been harmful, diversity is still regarded as a civic strength. Treacly "fair housing" radio ads recently produced by the National Fair Housing Alliance tout racial and ethnic diversity as the key to happiness, success in the global marketplace and, not least, an interesting life.

And on the eve of Barack Obama's inauguration, The Oregonion's Betsy Hammond bemoaned the fact that Portland, Oregon is diversifying less quickly than the rest of the country and remains "startlingly white." With 74% of the city's residents being white, Hammond wrote that Portland "is demographically out of step with 2009 America." It's Hammond's hope that the introduction of more public transportation and affordable housing will make the city "less white and more diverse."

Indeed, because of massive Third-World immigration and differing fertility rates, experts predict that Portland (and the rest of the country) will be increasingly diverse in the future. Whites are expected to comprise less than half the country's population by 2042.

By all indications, as America continues to diversify civic engagement will decline further and racially motivated violence directed at whites will become increasingly common. If this isn't the future white people want for themselves and their children, now is the time to do something about it. Whites who don't like the changes that are taking place in this country must become less compliant and start to retaliate.

LA's "largest ever" serial killer captured

According to the Associated Press, Los Angeles police believe John Floyd Thomas Jr., a 72-year-old insurance claims adjuster arrested earlier this month, may be the most prolific serial killer in the city's history. Thomas, who is African-American, is suspected of sexually assaulting and murdering as many as 30 older white women in two waves of attacks that terrified the city decades ago.

Thomas may appear to be atypical of most serial killers, who are usually thought to be predominately, if not exclusively, white. Although it's often taken for granted that most, if not all, serial killers are white, repeated studies have shown this isn't the case.

According to a 2006 FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, three different studies of serial murderers have found black offender proportions of 16, 20, and 20 percent. Since they make up less than 13% of the population, this means blacks, and not whites, are disproportionately represented among serial killers.

Indeed, Thomas is far from an atypical serial killer. There have been other black serial killers, including Carlton Gary, who have exclusively targeted older white women. Coral Eugene Watts also targeted white women. Despite having killed at least twelve white women, Watts was nearly released from prison in 2006. Responding to public outrage that Watts was to be released, authorities tried Watts for the unsolved killing of Gloria Steele, a black woman.

Killed in 1974, Steele was one of Watts' first victims. It's not surprising that Watts targeted black women before moving on to white women. In his award-winning book Soul on Ice, Eldridge Cleaver wrote that he "started out practicing on black girls in the ghetto where dark and vicious deeds appear not as aberrations or deviations from the norm, but as part of the sufficiency of the Evil of a day. When I considered myself smooth enough, I crossed the tracks and sought out white prey. I did this consciously, deliberately, willfully, methodically."

According to Cleaver, to rape a white woman was "an insurrectional act. It delighted me that I was defying and trampling upon the white man’s law, upon his system of values, and that I was defiling his women . . . I felt that I was getting revenge."

It's likely that Watts, Gary, Thomas, and others, targeted white women for similar reasons. Just as tv shows and movies perpetuate the myth that psychotic killers and other sexually deviants are predominately white, they also regularly portray blacks as the helpless victims of white oppression. When they drive black men to seek revenge by committing "insurrectional" acts, these inaccurate portrayals can have deadly consequences for innocent white people.

Ten Most Outrageous Moments in the Duke Lacrosse Rape Hoax

Two years ago, on April 11, 2007, North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper dismissed all charges against Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty, and David Evans and declared the three white Duke Lacrosse players (henceforth the 'Duke 3') innocent. The previous Spring, the Duke 3 had been charged with rape, sexual assault, and kidnapping by Durham County District Attorney Michael Nifong. The charges stemmed from allegations made by Crystal Gail Mangum, an African-American stripper the lacrosse team had hired to perform at a party on March 13, 2006. In dropping the charges, Cooper called Nifong a "rogue prosecutor" and stated the Duke 3 were victims of a "tragic rush to accuse." Nifong was found guilty of criminal contempt and disbarred. He served one day in jail.

On the two year anniversary of the end of this sad episode, this is a look back at 10 of the most outrageous moments in the case. They are presented in chronological order.

1. With no DNA evidence, Nifong vows to prosecute case "the good old-fashioned way"
When interviewed by the Durham Police Department, Crystal Mangum said her rapists hadn't used condoms and had ejaculated. DNA was collected from all 46 white Duke lacrosse players, and based on Mangum's account, Nifong stated the DNA evidence would implicate the guilty and "immediately rule out any innocent persons."

Lab tests showed that DNA from several men was present in Mangum's underwear, pubic hair and rectum, but none of it matched any of the 46 lacrosse players. Upon learning these results, Nifong conspired with the lab director to withhold information about the unidentified DNA from the defense. It was also at this time that Nifong declared that DNA needn't be the crux of the case after all. Instead, he vowed he would prosecute the rape charges "the good old-fashioned way".

The old-fashioned way isn't necessarily good, as evidenced by the number of people who have been exonerated post-conviction based on new DNA testing. However, the media gave Nifong a pass on his DNA about-face. Incredibly, some commentators actually claimed Nifong's case was stronger with a lack of DNA evidence.

The most ludicrous explanation given for the lack of DNA evidence came from Wendy Murphy. Speculating that the Duke 3 had assaulted Mangum with a broomstick, the legal analyst declared on MSNBC that "the broomstick DNA has not yet been revealed." In fact, Mangum had made no mention of a broomstick being used during the alleged attack, and there was no mention of a broomstick on any of the search warrants.

Nifong vows to prosecute the case "the good old fashioned way."

2. Nifong attends raucous forum at accuser's school
On April 11, Nifong attended a forum at the accuser's school, North Carolina Central University. For weeks Nifong had been stating with certainty that a rape had occurred, but he had not yet charged any of the lacrosse players. The mostly black crowd of 700 cheered when Nifong declared "my presence here means that this [case] is not going away." However, the atmosphere quickly soured.

Nifong was repeatedly chided for not arresting the entire lacrosse team the moment the rape allegation was made. The crowd hissed at Nifong when he wouldn't agree with an audience member who claimed that Duke University had "tampered" with DNA evidence. When Nifong told the crowd "I don't want anybody who did not commit a crime to be arrested and put on trial", the remark was met with catcalls and screams.

After the forum adjourned, the crowd surged toward Nifong, and a police escort was needed for him to safely exit the building. Chan Hall, a member of the NCCU student government, made explicit what appeared to be widespread sentiment at the forum when he told Newsweek that Duke students should be prosecuted "whether it happened or not. It would be justice for things that happened in the past." (Most of the information in this section is from the book Until Proven Innocent - see the link at the bottom of the page).

Nifong takes a verbal lashing from an irate citizen who alleges Duke University has tampered with DNA evidence. That was one of many conspiracy theories aired when Nifong attended a forum at the accuser's school.

3. Flawed lineup used to identify suspects
Without DNA evidence linking any of the Duke lacrosse players to a sexual assault, Nifong needed the accuser to identify her alleged attackers. Two suspect identification lineups had already been administered, but Mangum hadn't picked anyone out as an attacker.

Nifong devised a final lineup which included mugshots of all 46 white players on the team. Basically, Mangum was told there were no wrong answers, and whoever she picked would be indicted. Four of the men were selected by Mangum as potential attackers, and three of these men were subsequently charged.

Because he didn't even vaguely resemble any of the suspect descriptions Mangum had given to police, Colin Finnerty hadn't been included in either of the earlier lineups. In the final lineup, Mangum said she was 100% sure Finnerty was one of the men who raped her.

In one of the previous lineups, Mangum was only 70% sure she had seen Reade Seligmann somewhere at the party. Now she was 100% certain he looked like one of the men who had raped her.

Mangum hadn't recognized Dave Evans at all in a previous lineup, but she was now 90% certain he had raped her. She said Evans had a mustache during the attack. Evans tried to submit photographs to Nifong which showed he didn't have a mustache on the night of the party, but he was turned away.

There were many other contradictions in Mangum's identifications. In the final lineup, she failed to recognize three of the men she said she was 100% certain she saw at the party in an earlier lineup. The only man Mangum consistently identified as having been at the party was in fact out of town on the night in question. None of this worried Nifong or the investigators.

In a lineup with no wrong answers, Mangum identifies David Evans as one of her rapists.

4. Nifong discusses the case with members of an anti-white hate group
In a May 2, 2006 interview with Fox News Channel, Malik Zulu Shabazz, the leader of the New Black Panther Party, said he had met with Mike Nifong. According to Shabazz, Nifong shared "evidence" and discussed the lacrosse case at length with the Panthers. Nifong confirmed the conversation, but refused to reveal any details.

At a May 18 court hearing, members of the Panthers were waiting outside the courthouse as Reade entered. "Justice will be served, rapist!" one of them screamed. Reade's father followed his son into court, scanning the crowd for anyone who might attack Reade from behind. The Panther entourage was allowed into the courtroom, where one member glared at Reade and declared, "Dead man walking." None of this seemed to bother Nifong or the judge.

The Southern Poverty Law Center lists the New Black Panther Party as an anti-white, anti-Semitic, Black Separatist hate group. The Duke 3 are white, and Reade's father is Jewish.

5. Nifong engages in witness intimidation
Reade had been uncomfortable on the night of the lacrosse party, and immediately after the strippers stopped dancing he called a taxi driver to pick him up. The taxi driver, Moezeldin Elmostafa, signed an affidavit declaring he had picked Reade up at 12:19 AM. According to Mangum's timeline, her "rape" had occurred later than this.

This presented a huge problem for the prosecution. On May 10, Duke rape case investigators Benjamin Himan and Richard Clayton visited Elmostafa and asked him if he had anything new to tell them about the lacrosse case. When the Sudanese immigrant said 'No', he was arrested.

Two and a half-years earlier, Elmostafa had given a ride to a woman who shoplifted five purses. Elmostafa was now to stand trial as an accessory to that crime.

Nifong repeatedly denied he had anything to do with Elmostafa's arrest, but Elmostafa's lawyer introduced a note written by Himan which read: "Mr. Nifong wanted to know when we picked [Elmostafa] up."

The prosecution had no case, and Elmostafa was quickly found not guilty by the judge. Still, by going to trial, Elmostafa had put his dream of American citizenship in jeopardy. For telling the truth and not changing his story under pressure, Elmostafa was chosen as the Reader's Digest 2008 Hero of the Year.

6. Nifong wins racially polarized election
In an election that was a referendum on the Duke lacrosse case, Nifong won with 49% of the vote. This victory came less than a month after a devastating two-segment 60 Minutes investigation of the Duke lacrosse case by award-winning black journalist Ed Bradley. Bradley's report left no doubt that the Duke 3 were innocent and that Nifong had engaged in serious prosecutorial misconduct.

Toward the end of the second 60 Minutes segment, Bradley discussed the implications of a Nifong victory with black Duke Law Professor James Coleman. After detailing Nifong's abuse of power, Coleman made a thinly-veiled appeal to black Durham voters to do the right thing and reject Nifong when he rhetorically asked Bradley, "What does it say about what he's willing to do to get poor black defendants?"

Coleman's warning went unheeded, as Nifong captured an astonishing 95% of the black vote. Only 20-25% of whites voted for Nifong.

Ed Bradley interviews Reade Seligmann on 60 Minutes. Less than a month after the segment aired, Bradley died of complications from leukemia. In 2007, he posthumously won the 66th annual George Foster Peabody award for his examination of the case.

7. Accuser no longer sure she was penetrated with a penis
On December 20, 2006, the North Carolina State Bar informed Nifong he was facing potential ethics charges for withholding exculpatory DNA evidence from the defense. The next day, in an attempt to mitigate the significance of this serious ethics violation, Nifong pushed Mangum to change her story and say she was no longer certain she had been penetrated by a penis. Because penile penetration is necessary for a charge of rape, Nifong dropped the rape charges. The kidnapping and sexual assault charges, which still carried potential 30 year sentences, were left intact.

To most observers, Nifong's convenient dropping of the rape charges was further proof that the conspiracy was unraveling. A week earlier, Saturday Night Live had done a sketch mocking Nancy Grace in which they presumed the Duke 3's innocence. Many of Nifong's remaining defenders conceded that the case was collapsing. But according to Irving Joyner, a black law professor who was monitoring the case for the NAACP, Nifong was now in an even stronger position to win a conviction.

Throughout the case, Joyner was one of Nifong's most reliable cheerleaders. As displeasure with Nifong was growing in other regions of the state, Joyner said Nifong "still has a viable shot at victory before a jury in Durham." This was because "a Durham jury may see things differently" than a jury in a whiter North Carolina county. Joyner was against a change of venue, and he agreed with Nifong's claim that the case called for a "Durham solution."

KC Johnson has documented several ways in which the NAACP took stances on the lacrosse case that contradicted the organization's longstanding core principles on criminal justice matters. In all these instances, the NAACP took positions that were more likely to result in a conviction of the Duke 3.

8. The 2nd Duke Rape Case
On February 11, 2007, another woman alleged she was raped in the bathroom at an off-campus party at Duke. Despite the many similarities between this rape allegation and the one made against the Duke lacrosse team a year earlier, the reactions by the media and by Duke University were very different.

Initially, the cable news networks showed a great deal of interest in this second rape allegation. However, this interest waned when it was revealed the party had been hosted by Phi Beta Sigma, a black fraternity. By the time it was confirmed that the rapist was black and the victim was white, the story had been relegated to conservative and legal blogs. Only the Duke campus newspaper reported the victim's race. While the suspect was still on the loose, the local daily newspaper, which had shamelessly highlighted the racial angle of the Duke lacrosse rape case, refused to mention the suspect was black. None of this is surprising. As Lawrence Auster has noted, no explicit reference is ever made to the racial aspect of black on white rapes in the media.

The response by Duke University was also very different this time around. There were no prayers, marches, or candlelight vigils for Katie Rouse. Vice President of Student Affairs Larry Moneta even seemed to blame the white victim, when he dismissed her rape as "part of the reality of collegiate life and of experimentation and some of the consequences of students not always being in the right place at the right time."

In March 2009, Michael Jermaine Burch was sentenced to 48-67 months in prison for the rape. Actually, the sentence was for two rapes - the one at Duke and a second one committed after the defendant was set free on bail. If Burch's bail had been set at $400,00, as it had been for the Duke 3, this second rape (race of victim unknown) could have been prevented.

When a white Duke student was raped by a black Durham resident, there were no protests or marches.

9. Duke administration sides with the faculty radicals
It's fairly well known that 88 Duke faculty members signed a "listening statement" which assigned guilt to the lacrosse team and thanked demonstrators "for not waiting and for making yourselves heard." What many people probably don't realize is that this was not a fringe group unrepresentative of the university at large. In fact, the administration took the side of these faculty radicals.

President Richard Brodhead formed a committee called the Campus Culture Initiative, and the fiercest faculty critics of the lacrosse team were rewarded with positions chairing the subgroups on athletics, race, and gender.

History professor Peter Wood, who without any corroborating evidence had called Reade Seligmann "cynical, arrogant, callous, dismissive—you could almost say openly hostile", was chosen to chair the subgroup on athletics.

English professor Karla Holloway, who wrote that "justice inevitably has an attendant social construction" and therefore the lacrosse case "cannot be finally or fully adjudicated in the courts", was chosen to chair the subgroup on race. It was Holloway who had put together the "listening statement."

Anthropology professor Anne Allison, who, like Wood and Holloway, had also signed the "listening statement", was chosen to chair the subgroup on gender.

Not surprisingly, in February 2007 the committee issued a report calling for more mandatory diversity classes and additional affirmative action programs in the form of more aggressive recruitment and increased financial aid for "underrepresented groups". As the Wall Street Journal has pointed out, white Christians, and especially Southern Baptists, are actually the most under-represented group at elite universities such as Duke. However, by "underrepresented groups" the committee almost certainly meant blacks, who make up 10% of the Duke undergraduate student body.

Duke University President Richard Brodhead squirmed when Ed Bradley asked him "Were you at all concerned that your students and some members of your faculty were engaged in a rush to judgment? And that their actions might actually throw fuel on the fire?"

10. Nifong returns with a smirk
Nifong was found guilty of 27 ethics violations relating to his handling of the Duke lacrosse rape case. He served one jay in jail, and was disbarred. Nifong turned in his law license, which he noted had been damaged when his puppy chewed on it.

You might assume the disgraced prosecutor would be something of a pariah among his former colleagues at the Durham County DA's office. Sadly, you'd be wrong in making that assumption.

In January 2009, Nifong received a "personal invitation" from incoming Durham Country DA Tracey Cline to attend her swearing in ceremony. Nifong accepted the invitation and was greeted with hugs by his former colleagues in the DA's Office.

During the Duke lacrosse case, then-Assistant DA Cline was Nifong's rape specialist prosecutor. When asked for her thoughts on how her former boss handled the Duke Lacrosse rape case, Cline declined to comment.

Dishonorable Mention
New York Times' desperate attempt to prop up a dying case
Registration is required to read the full article, but the first sentence of this 5600-word, front page article speaks for itself: "An examination of the case file shows that there is a body of evidence to support the prosecutor’s decision to take the matter to a jury." Bloggers immediately tore the piece to shreds, and MSNBC's Dan Abrams called the article "shameful." Anyone who relied exclusively on the New York Times for their news must have been flabbergasted when Cooper dropped all charges in the case.

Two other outrageous moments weren't included because they are only tangentially related to the case: (1) When the accuser's cousin hinted that one of the Duke 3 had fathered the accuser's baby, and (2) When the accuser was awarded a degree in police psychology.

Police Cover-up Revealed on Killing of Interracial Couple

When Jan Pawel Pietrzak and Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak, a newlywed interracial couple, were found brutally slain in their home in Riverside, CA last fall, the mothers of both victims believed race played a part in the deaths. Pietrzak, 24, was a white Marine sergeant, and his 26-year-old wife was black. The four Marines, two of whom served under Pietrzak, who were charged with the murders are black.

Based on the fact that property stolen from the murdered couple was recovered from the suspects, authorities claimed the motive for the murders was strictly financial. In making this incredible claim, the sheriffs department overlooked the extreme brutality of the killings. Both victims had been bound and severely beaten before being shot multiple times. The female had been sexually assaulted; she was found naked, with a vibrator on the floor between her splayed legs.

Although the facts of the case pointed to more than a robbery gone bad, the authorities disputed the notion that race played any part in the murders. Josh Button, a homicide investigator with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, said "there's nothing to suggest what happened was a racial crime." According to Button, anyone who believed race played a role in the killings was uninformed and engaging in wild speculation. "It's just people looking at the case from the outside and making up their own minds," he said.

Now several months later, it turns out there was evidence of a racial motive. On Friday, Riverside County investigator Ben Ramirez testified that the killers had spray-painted two racial slurs inside the slain couple's home. So, does this mean the authorities were lying when they made their previous statements?

No, they say. Incredibly, police maintain the slurs weren't evidence of a racial motive, but rather were merely a ruse. According to The Californian, authorities have said the racial slurs were "an attempt to throw investigators off the trail of the Marines, who are all black, by making it seem as if the Pietrzaks, a mixed-race couple, were killed by racists."

That sentence is stupefying, but it reveals the true reason why the murders were never considered a racial crime. It's not that there was insufficient evidence; the suspects just weren't the right color. It's clear that the authorities in Riverside County believe only white people are capable of committing racially-motivated acts of violence. While this belief is groundless, it's one shared by both the media and "watchdog" organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The SPLC regularly pushes for federal hate crimes legislation, citing the need for federal authorities to prosecute hate crimes when local authorities are "unwilling to act." Yet when Ron Smith, a Baltimore Sun columnist, wrote about the authorities' refusal to attribute the Pietrzaks' deaths to "hate", Mark Potok of the SPLC responded by attacking Smith and unquestioningly repeating the authorities' dubious claim that robbery, and not race hatred, was the motive.

We must overcome this pervasive but false belief that only white people are capable of racism and racial hatred.

"Modern Militia Movement" Report Written with ADL Assistance

"The Modern Militia Movement" - the report written by Missouri law enforcement which lists support for Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, or Bob Barr for president as a sign of involvement in the militia movement - is very troubling. While the report has drawn much criticism, little attention has been paid to where Missouri law enforcement got their information from. My immediate suspicion was that the report was written with the help of either the Southern Poverty Law Center or the Anti-Defamation League. Minimal Internet detective work has shown that my suspicion was correct, and that the report was written with the assistance of the latter group.

While the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith purports to be a Jewish civil rights organization, in reality the ADL is a left-wing advocacy group which conducts extensive surveillance on individuals and groups across the political spectrum. The San Francisco district attorney accused the ADL of conducting a national "spy network" after a 1993 raid on the organization's San Francisco offices uncovered computer files [including stolen confidential police documents containing personal information] on 9,876 individuals and more than 950 groups. Noam Chomsky decried the ADL's "Stalinist-style mentality and behavior" after a detailed 150-page report on his activities was leaked to him by someone within the group. While the ADL denies engaging in illegal activities, they boast of their "nationwide fact-finding infrastructure." According to their web site, they specialize in gathering, analyzing and disseminating intelligence on extremism to law enforcement agencies in order for them to combat "serious threats".

The ADL regularly conducts "extremism training" classes for law enforcement, where they instruct officers on "extremist ideologies" and share effective investigation and prosecuting techniques to combat these ideologies. According to the ADL's web site, an extremism training class for Missouri law enforcement was held in Arnold, Mo. in March 2008, in which officers from 25 different agencies heard lectures from "ADL experts on right-wing extremism." It's likely that documentation provided to law enforcement officers at this meeting was the basis for the "Modern Militia Movement" report written by Missouri law enforcement.

Almost the entire Missouri report is composed of cursorily re-worded documents publicly available on the ADL's web site. The first similarity I noticed was this one below. See if you can spot the similarities between the two selections (compare the italicized text).

These groups primarily adhere to the principles of Louis Beam’s philosophy of leaderless resistance. This philosophy advocates small autonomous cells driven by ideology rather than by the direction of leaders. These groups are difficult to gather intelligence on as no one outside of the cell would be aware of the organization or its plans. Individuals or “lone wolves” have also been known to adhere to the principles of leaderless resistance in order to perform or plot acts of violence.

Beam called for an overhaul of the movement's tactics; he advocated the formation of small, autonomous underground groups driven by ideology rather than by the directions of leaders and membership organizations. Because those outside the cell would not be aware of planned attacks, Beam explained, leaks or infiltration became far less likely.

I thought I was pretty clever for figuring this out, but in fact nearly the entire Missouri edocument is a re-wording of documents available on the ADL's web site. Simon Jester, a poster at the ConnectMidMissouri forum, discovered that the entire section on the Christian Identity movement in the Missouri report was copied nearly verbatim from an ADL source.

The one exception seems to be the section of the Missouri report on "Political Paraphernalia" that mentions Paul, Barr, and Baldwin. The ADL has previously branded Ron Paul a "far-right conservative" with extremist views on taxes, but there's nothing on their web site associating him with the militia movement. Also, a search of the ADL's website returns no matches for either "Chuck Baldwin" or "Campaign for Liberty".

If the rest of the Missouri document was based on information provided by the ADL, you can be sure the section on Paul, Barr, and Baldwin was as well. We can safely assume the ADL has been closely monitoring the activities of Ron Paul and the Campaign for Liberty. Noam Chomsky's secret ADL file was 150 pages. Any guesses as to how long Ron Paul's file is?

It's worth noting that the ADL has been in the forefront of national and state efforts to pass hate crimes legislation. To date 45 states and the District of Columbia have statutes for bias crimes, many of which have been based on the ADL's model hate crimes legislation originally drafted in 1981. The David Ray Ritcheson Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009 (HR 262), which could pass in Congress this session, will construct a federal hate crimes command center in Washington, D.C. with an annual cost of $10 million to taxpayers. This command center will not be run by the federal government but by the ADL. Ron Paul and the Campaign for Liberty should aggressively combat the ADL and this latest hate crimes bill.

HIV/AIDS Rate in D.C. Hits 3%

A new health report finds that 3 percent of Washington, D.C. residents have HIV or AIDS.

To put this in context, an infection rate of 1 percent constitutes a "generalized and severe" epidemic. The director of the District's HIV/AIDS Administration says the District's "rate is "higher than West Africa" and "on par with Uganda and some parts of Kenya."

Residents aren't shocked by the report's findings. "You have a high incidence of HIV among African Americans, and a lot of African Americans live in the city," was the response of Ron Simmons, an HIV positive black man.

Simmons is correct about there being a high incidence of HIV among blacks. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2005 "[t]he rate of AIDS diagnosis for black women (45.5/100,000 women) was approximately 23 times the rate for white women (2.0/100,000)."

The District's report found that the majority of black women were infected through heterosexual sex. Presumably, the vast majority of these women were infected by having sex with black men.

Let this report serve as a warning for white women intrigued by the media's exhortations to experiment with interracial dating. Writers like Alon Ziv have speciously promised white women everything from better orgasms to healthier and more attractive children by mating with black men, but they haven't warned white women about the risks associated with interracial sex.
